As much as i was furious with Rihanna i think that she did record music but her feeling about it changed several times. She was going to go in another direction, then she wanted to do a reggae album and was working on that. Then Covid came so touring wouldn't happen so she postponed, then she was pregnant. I think now she may not even want to do the reggae album. I think the era of pop star Rihanna is over but that is what the public wants. I think she enjoyed her Anti era and doing things her own way and just enjoying the music. The break was well deserved. I wish some of the better sounding party songs that won't be official tracks would leak tho. The music industry has changed. It's no longer about fans and being on the radio but it is about money.
