Thank you for the review. Really enjoyed your synopsis. I never followed Rihanna. Only knew one of her songs, but after Superbowl I have been listening to her music and playing the SB performance over and over again. It was an uplifting and classic performance.

Banger after banger with Rihanna. I had a good ten years when I pretty much didn't socialise when my older two were young 'uns. Then I had a few years where I pretended I was a teenager again and was clubbing or pubbing every weekend, and Rihanna was HUGE during those years. Banger after Banger, as I said. I've seen so much shade about this performance all over social media today. Pregnancy is HARD. She did a fab job as far as I'm concerned. Yes to what Jennifer suggested. Next time you try a PTX evolution, you should watch the Rihanna one. Over 5 minutes of awesomeness. Kevin and Matt 👌

I thought she did a good job, even if it was a more "low key" way to approach it (yes, this was extremely low key for a super bowl half time show). You guys should react to some other half time shows over the years. There are iconic ones like Prince, which I know you've seen, or Beyonce or Lady Gaga, but I think there are some highly underrated ones like Katy Perry or the Bruno Mars/Coldplay/Beyonce collab.

This was good, Rihanna looked radiant when she was pregnant, I also loved Shakiras performance with J-Lo(not Mariah Carey), and the Eminem/Dre/Snoop/50 cent and Kendrick was pure fire 🔥

Simone Simons of Epica was 3 months pregnant in their 10th Anniversary "Retrospect" live concert. Their concert was 3 hours long and she sang live throughout. Epica, for those who don't know, are a Symphonic Metal band. Simone, being a metal musician puts most pop stars to shame, wouldn't hear of lip syncing, and sings in many styles, indeed her ballads are amazing. Such a shame that Epica would never be invited to perform at the Super Bowl. Most Americans would be confused.

They pre-recorded the superbowl half time performance as a general rule. That doesn't mean that she wasn't singing. I think Rhianna is much more than 3 months pregnant. She did a fabulous job.

@@lydiaedwards8100 It seems that many "live" performances by pop stars are pre-recorded and they lip-sync to the tracks. Their voices are probably not strong enough for live singing. It feels like their fans get short changed but I suppose they are used to it.

So are you going to watch best Super Bowl commercials next? They are the most expensive of the year. Usually pretty cool too. Oh yeah, I read today that the artists don't get paid. The dancers do. The artists get money on their makeup lines (why she powdered her nose) and album sales go way up. Thought that was interesting.

@@davidgomm6043 she was singing, it was just over a track, which is pretty universally common for singers to do during live performances where they're moving a lot (or pregnant, which automatically will put you out of breath quicker). It's not difficult to tell she's actually singing the majority of the time, and I'm not even a big Rihanna fan. It was a more low-key, "simple" show by Super Bowl standards, but I don't think it was near the worst ever. It won't go down anywhere near the best, either, but I think people are blowing it out of proportion (usually older people lol).
