I have never laughed so hard watching a show & it was all because of Rik & the rest of the boys from the Young Ones! I wish he was still with us... but he will never be forgotten.
He's always got that great smile and mischief in his eyes, he's having you on and he's enjoying it in such a good way, the guy just loves touching that spot in people, cause it makes them feel good, true comedian. so creative, what a man. and he's looking pretty damn good for his fucking age. Herro.
Ahhahahahaahahahahaahahahaahhahahaahahah Why has noone else called you a genius yet? Ok I'll do it. This clip makes you think/realise/acknowledge that maybe Paul O'grady's beginings were not quite as mainstream as he became. The way he starts right out with a line that must've been so hard for Rik not to respond to with a rude joke, quick and funny.. Inside I bet Rik was impressed and pissed off because Paul set him up so well with such a good line, on Paul's own show, after he was told to be good.. lol
Not long before he passed he was in a film that covered the ideas of 911 Zionism continual wars etc and the film finished with the fact that the same evil intends on wiping out a lot of the global population. Food for thought.
Blimey was it so long ago that he passed?? It seems like only yesterday that we lost him. And it's ten years now? My God.... R.I.P. Rik......... Or actually maybe don't rest in peace because that was never your style. Rest in complete mayhem and anarchy like so many of your characters. A big part of my life growing up is gone . I completely pissed my self laughing at the episode of "Bottom," called 'Gas.' I'll never forget it.
I love him. I'm 15, I wan't even born when he was at the height of his fame, but please god, let me see him across a street and just happen to have a pair of knickers in my hand!
Why do the legends always die young? He had years left in him! He's definitely toned down here. He could be family friendly when he wanted to be. Adrian Edmondson has definitely gone that way. I wouldn't even recognise him nowadays.
