Just got mine 2 days ago and absolutely love it !! Anyone on the “ fence” on purchasing this saw GET IT you won’t be disappointed, this video isn’t just a sale gimmick it’s factual. Many u tube videos from everyday woodworkers out there with nothing to gain from Rikon just honest experience. Great product.
Now that I have owned this saw for about 4 months , I have to say, it’s a magnificent saw and quite the upgrade to my shop. The only thing I would change is actually 2 changes is the E stop, this E stop should of been placed higher on the column so that is easier to access in case of emergency and definitely not hidden/ obstructed while using the fence, 2nd would be the auxiliary power , you can only use the auxiliary power supply if it’s wired for 110 , cannot be used while configured for 220v… this auxiliary is a great option for a work light , as the upper cabinet as do all saws cast a shadow on your workpiece. Neither is a deal breaker for me , and I would of still bought this saw if I had known.the pros of this saw certainly outweigh the cons, construction, resaw capacity, ease of blade change, tons of power, accuracy, fence, fairly quite and next to no vibration. 9 out 10 for me. Great product !
Bought mine a couple years ago. The cast table rusts. Need corrosion prevention recommendations aside from routine sprays that stain your wood projects.
Did my research. Made a decision. Ordered it on-line. Arrived in a week, directly from the factory, to Fort Worth, Texas. Big smiles. I love unboxing a new tool. This was like Christmas and I was a kid again. Talk about solid, sturdy and well designed. The 10-326 is that and more. I finally have the resaw capacity that I've craved for so long. Kudos to Rikon for an excellent machine! The wife hasn't seen much of me for the last week because I've been in the shop putting this baby through it's paces. Maybe it's the honeymoon period, but I'm in sawdust heaven! I'd say more, but this is taking time away from my Rikon, so I'll close with this: Make a decision. Order it on-line. Fall in love. I did. Thanks Rikon!
headed to woodcraft to pick up the laguna 1412. saw the 326 within 5 min of talking to the manager it was a no brainer this was the better saw and for a 100 dollars cheaper 10%off $899. was able to pick up a mobile stand and 2 extra blades with the money i saved. very happy with my puchase.
When I set up my new 10-326, I had an extra 6 or 8 inch steel bar that I can't find a use for. I see the same short steel bar at 9:53 on the video in the hand of one of the demonstrators. What is that?
I almost ordered the 10-325 but I decided to search RU-vid for Rikon band saw reviews. I'm glad I stumbled upon this video. I like the upgrades the 10-326 has vs. the 10-325. I ordered the 10-326 and now I can't wait to get this bad boy in my shop ! By the looks of this band saw it should be a decent upgrade from my 10" bench top Ryobi band saw. Just a slight upgrade. LMAO ! ! !
+Mike Restivo Got it today! Put it together with the help of the assembly video and instruction book, no surprises and nothing too difficult. I haven't fine tuned it yet, but it cuts pretty sweet. It didn't slow down on a 6" resaw with the included blade, so that motor looks like it's going to be a winner.
i just picked this up and wow what a machine. its so impressive and you can tell Rikon listened to what the customer wanted in 10-325 model but didnt get. just incredible. nothing a new toy
+Inside RIKON Guy ive been using it all afternoon. if theres a better 14" bandsaw out there id sure as hell like to see. the upgrades on this is top notch. i ripped a 3x5 x 36" block down & the accuracy was within .010 end to end. amazing
+Inside RIKON Guy yes stock blade which is even more impressive. usually the first thing i do with any bandsaw is take the stock one off and grab a timberwolf. not today. woodcraft said it was a good blade and they definitely werent kidding
+Peter Detorre and lastly rikons customer service is beyond any other company ive dealt with. that reason alone will male me switch more machines to rikon. Hows your table saw??
If it is hitting your wheel while open at a 45 I would say something is wrong with you cabinet/ assembly , just got mine a few months ago , and the door opens completely, as it does in the video.
The viewer can’t see what you see on close-up views when the camera doesn’t zoom in for the viewer. Left me wondering what the detail being described was.
+Inside RIKON guy. Thank you for the response. Im aware of this model, however, as stated above I am inquiring about a electronic motor brake, not a foot acuated micro switch with mechanical braking.
I'm pretty excited to see this posted. A local retailer mentioned this might be coming out, so I waited on pulling the trigger on a Laguna or Grizzly (17"). How reliable are those tool-less guide bearing adjusters over time?
+Rivertown Woodcraft The guide knobs are threaded in to steel barrel bolts that act as sliders. We have been testing for the past year; pretty confident they will hold up!
I know this came out in 2016 but I am curious if the 10-326 no longer comes with the extended fence rail. Online pics do not show the extended rail but it was a new feature in the video. If they do not have them, does anyone know when they stopped that feature and why?
I bought the 10-326 almost a year ago, Rikon guys can you Please explain how to adjust the blade square to the table?? I cannot resaw thin stock because the blade is out of square by almost 1/8" . Im talking the side of the blade if I change the table from zero to match the blade then the fence wont sit square??? PLEASE RESPOND RIKON******* Severely bummed out customer
This is in my top 2 bandsaw choices. Toss up against grizzly's 17" with motor brake. Any of the rikon line incorporate a motor brake? Open to opinions on which to buy...thanks
