Loved Trixter, saw them all over the east coast and midwest in the early 90s. Talked to him and the boys plenty back in the day, so I was tickled to see this. Don't know what I was expecting here, but Peter took my damn breath away when he randomly brought up Jeff Buckley. THE quintessential singer's singer. Great interview, thanks, Sean! Thanks, Pete!

We moved out of Paramus and NJ and never looked back either. Seen Steve play a few times at local bars. I use to go to PHS (88-91) with Steve and Mark. Great guys

I've always liked Pete. He reminds me of Father Mulcahy from M.A.S.H. here. Good interview!

No Pete No Trixter. Their 4 studio records are phenomenal. (Not counting the covers record). As good as their 1st record is their second record is phenomenal. Their last 2 are solid and are a great listen.

Man, I have always loved his voice. I can see it may have gotten better to him but I never heard him sing bad. All the live shows I bought or went to and his solo stuff. He has a great voice! Hope he does some live stuff again or even another solo record.

Dude was a legendary vocalist. So strange to hear him talk about how he didn't love some of his performances on the first album (though I understand why). I do agree that he had more power during the "Hear" days but he was always incredible from the beginning.

Saw Trixter at the Pomp Room in Sioux falls early 90s. Dallas won the super bowl then I went out. Fun concert in ballroom bar. Closed with AC DC song. I think it was Dirty Deeds. Loud guitars for the song like Joan Jett version. I saw Joan in concert also with Black Heats. They are also really good. Lucky we grew up when we did. Now it is all DJs and it sounds like noise to me. I don't think I'm old. When I was 20I appreciated bands like Kansas the doors and Steally Dan who are 20 years older than me even The 90s and early 2000s were better than now. Today I like Dua Lipa Camila cabello and Jax. There aren't any fun men groups. They just whine about their issues.

Trixter were a good, not great, band, and their albums had good, not great, production. I’d say they exceeded all expectations.
