I recently bought a carbide tipped blade from Highland woodworking. Slightly thicker than your standard blade but once tracking properly, cuts a great thin veneer!
great job Joey, they look beautiful. I just finished two at 3.6 metres each , used 8 pieces of 10mm dia steel bar inside each one to hold them up. Made from two pieces of 18 mm MR stuck together.
Lovely work but that bathroom looks like it's going to be a wetroom - won't the wood swell with the moisture ? Caveat emptor - I'm interested in woodwork but have never done any, so I don't know if that is even a thing !
It is a water proof pva (so the package says) though I don't expect it to have to repel water as the 4 coats of water based polyurethane should keep it all safe 😁
Looks great, but how practical not having any doors etc to put your private stuff? I mean everything would be too exposed for the guests etc if you put it on there

But, why didn't you veneered the sides before the top and botom?. As you did it, the side of the veneer it's seen from top. (I'm from Spain, sorry if my english is not good, i expect you understand the question).

I tried your work belt system but sorry “Mate” I needed more! I sport a Buckaroo belt and can Cabinet makers pouch along with another pouch! Seriously as a side line note ; sometimes it’s the little stuff that keeps us afloat? Vanities , Butcher Block tops, large cutting boards on wheels? You are so custom it’s great but here in the states ppl would kill for your boards? Right on Tony! Keep working here what I used to say (all my kids are raised now) “I gotta work? Something wrong with the kids? They have this issue where they gotta eat & it’s pricy”! JD
im certain it didnt take him 5 months to actually construct these boxes, i think he meant 5 months from when he accepted the job and started with the steel brackets until he finished it by making the shelves and installing them!
