Rimuru has officially become a Demon Lord after defeating Clayman. Following Walpurgis, the Demon Lords' banquet, Rimuru's domain is expanded to include the entire Great Forest of Jura. Anticipating a flood of representatives from all races showing up to pay their respects, Rimuru decides to throw a festival to commemorate the opening of Tempest, using it as an opportunity to gain new citizens and present Demon Lord Rimuru to the world. Meanwhile, in the Holy Empire of Lubelius, home base of the monster-hating cult of Luminism, Holy Knight Captain Hinata receives a message from Rimuru. But the message is actually a fabricated declaration of war sent by some unknown party. Upon learning that Hinata is heading for Tempest, Rimuru makes a decision... Thus begins a new challenge for Rimuru, striving to distinguish friend from foe in a pursuit of the ideal nation where humans and monsters can prosper together.

The carriage was my favorite part of the episode. When Diablo restores them from whatever the hell Shion did to them. Still not clear on that.... Anyway the way they all realized resistance was futile and swore allegiance to Diablo, I already knew the moment was coming but still one hell of a scene to watch. "This demon is one of the primordials, the most powerful demons in the world, the truly terrifying thing. There is someone this demon serves... A demon lord possessing a hidden power that, while fleeting, surpasses imagination" I loved that line so much.

If only those nobles knew that the butler, acting-messenger, they have in front of them is one of the ORIGINAL (Primordial/First to exist) demons of their world. And one of the most, if not the most, powerful of that very small club. To put it into perspective, just having him there means that every second of life they enjoyed was because he allowed it. And that goes to the entire capital, more or less.

"Damare to itte iu." At that moment, Diablo made it clear that Tempest ain't playing. Falmuth attacked without provocation, murdering Rimuru's subjects in a one-sided massacre. It is only because Rimuru's ascension allowed him to revive everyone that he can grant this much leeway.

People don't seem to have plotted this out fully. If/when the king abdicates, the nobles besides pinning the blame on him are going to offload the debt onto him as well--the king is responsible for everything. Whatever personal wealth the king has will likely be given up in an alliance with Youm's faction since he'll have nothing else to offer. If/when Youm becomes king, Tempest will likely forgive the crushing debt to help Youm solidify his position as king. Tempest gets an ally country, but no more coin.

Thats a couple billion dollars. A mid-sized nation that could fund an army the size they sent should also be able to pay that much. Not all at once mind you, and he explicitly asked for extremely valuable coinage which isn't where the value of a nation is stored. Coins that large are close to useless. It's not the value that's the tall ask, it's the timeframe and scarcity of the coins.

But that kinda the point. In the end, they wanted someone they could trust to take over the kingdom, and to do so, they had to put it into a situation the crown will change hand, because of conflict no doubt.

They earn lot from merchants and people who use that route. The reason why they invade tempest was because tempest provide another way safer way to dwargon and other nation. He dresses and acts the part of one hell of a butler. Interestingly the Butler could hold quite a lot of authority in the absence of their master, usually taking charge of the house and dealing with certain matters in their stead. In that sense they hold a lot more power than a secretary. A little bit of an inversion as Diablo is going away to handle business rather than handling business while Rimuru leaves.

If they really wanted leverage for getting them to listen to Rimuru's demands, then all Diablo had to do is be honest. As soon as Diablo says that Rimuru killed over 5000 soldiers with a single attack and is even stronger now, they'd back down.

Currently, Diablo as a Demon Peer is leagues above Shion in terms of strength. However, when Shion evolves to become one of the patrons, they will be comperable. Still, Diablo would win regardless.

Rimuru is quite an idealist similar to Naruto Uzumaki, Hashirama Senju, and Hagoromo Otsutsuki. However one common flaw that they all had was that they are all far too compassionate and underestimate the dark side of humanity. Rimuru needs someone like Diablo to help him if he wants to achieve his goals. Hashirama Senju had his brother Tobirama Senju the pragmatist to help keep him grounded in reality. Naruto Uzumaki needed Shikamaru Nara and Sasuke Uchiha to keep him grounded in reality.

I would like to meet the other Primordials. As so far, we've only met, Rouge the Primordial Red, Noire the Primodial Black and Violet, who I'm guessing is the Primodial Purple? (Someone correct that). The Coleous (OVA/mini arc) did seem to have shown who I'm guessing were "Yellow" and "White," but i want titles, and who are the last 2 (Blue & Green)?
