Not true, towards the end of the Manwha, Sung Jinwoo actually get's completely free from that game mechanic, and basically just unlocks the entirety of the power of the Shadow Monarch after being resurrected. He's not limited, in fact he's literally the embodiment of unlimited. In the end it would be up to the writer to decide, from what I gather Beelzebub is not able to consume something stronger than it, unless it's allowed to do so. I could definitely write the fight going both ways, and it would be believable.
