Just goes to show those incapable of violence are actually more capable then they appear

i thought that the incapable of violent meant that i can only hide them until others kill the raiders. But this video proves that they can indirectly cause violence :D
There is something dark about seeing 'Pirates are fleeing' seconds before they all collapse to the ground, the banging going quiet leaving only the roar of the fire as they all lay on the floor dying.
It's a fairly horrifying way to go, but when you consider what they were there to do it balances out. Plus it was 99% self inflicted, op just provided the opportunity
@@ordinaryfellow9093 there wasn't a way i could pay for it so if there isn't a price for it and there isn't anyone saying i cannot use it why is it stolen then
Raider 1: Oh god, they led us into a trap Raider 2: Dont worry, it looks like they built this thing out of wood. I got this R1: NO WAIT! R2: *throws Molotovs* AHA! Now we wait for the fire to burn our way out. Im a genius. Hey, does it feel hot all of a sudden?
I remember building a fine tuned oven that could hold over 100 raiders and heat up just enough to cause non-lethal extreme heat stroke, then I just send in my colonists wearing full devilstrand to strip everyone then take the good prisoners. Generated such an obscene amount of wealth that I could bribe every faction except the permanently hostile ones to be my allies and could summon endless caravans.
Raider 1: "narrow corridors traces of ash on the ground new wood walls strong roast smell This is a trap!" Raider 2: -throw a molotov against the wall "You've said something?"
"As they slowly manage to crawl halfway through the tunnel I quickly go all Edgar Allan Poe on them and seal the entrance behind them" - A very wise man
Golden tables to attract them inside is clever but i'd build 2 layers of stone walls since they nearly got out here and take out half the colonists to repair from the outside aswell. Wooden floors would be smart too.
Hay flooring would be better. Those are extra combustible. The problems with adding any flooring is it increases the movement speed of enemies, thus giving your pawns less time to prepare walls.
Raider 1: Hah! Those fools think they locked us in here! The inner walls are wood! I'm gonna burn our way out! Raider 2: No, wait! Don't fall for that! Don't light it on fire! NOOO! Pawns: Welp, now we just wait until the screaming stops...
my favorite way to do this is building the whole structure out of stone, just one long corridor, and then planting corn along the second half of the snaking corridor. the corn only needs to be replaced every so often when it rots, but other than that its free and can handle infinite raiders as long as they dont just tunnel around it into the base. only takes one colonist to close the doors in a pinch
The sound of them fainting and dying is like mosquitos going in the light trap. Like popping popcorn. Lol... so satisfying 😌 you will be accounted for all you've killed in heaven bro. Even it's just only a videogame. -10 points to heaven
Connection terminated. I’m sorry to interrupt you Elizabeth, if you even remember that name. But I’m afraid you’ve been misinformed. You are not here to receive a gift, nor have you been called here by the individual you assume, although you have indeed been called. You have all been called here, into a labyrinth of sounds and smells, misdirection and misfortune. A labyrinth with no exit. A maze with no prize. You don’t even realise you are trapped. Your lust for blood has driven you in endless circles, chasing the cries of children in some unseen chamber, always seeming so near. Yet somehow out of reach. But you will never find them. None of you will. This is where the story ends. And to you, my brave volunteer, who somehow found this job listing, not intended for you. Although there was a way out planned for you, but I have a feeling that’s not what you want. I have a feeling you are right where you want to be. I am nearby. This place will not be remembered, and the memory of everything can finally begin to fade away, as the agony of every tragedy should. And to you monsters trapped in the corridors, be still, and give up your spirits. They don’t belong to you. For most of you, I believe there is peace or perhaps war, waiting for you after the smoke clears. Although for one of you, the darkest pit of hell is waiting to swallow you whole. So don’t keep the devil waiting, friend. My daughter, if you can hear me, I knew you would return aswell. It’s in your nature to protect the innocent. I’m sure that on that day, the day you were shut out, and left to die, no one was there to lift you up into their arm, the way you lifted them into yours. And then, what became of you? I should’ve known you wouldn’t be content to disappear. Not my daughter. I couldn’t save you then, so let me save you now. It’s time to rest, for you, and for those you’ve carried into your arms, this ends. For all of us. End of communication.
I currently have a massive mountain base with a big prison. I repurposed it as logging for a group of travelers who then betrayed me. I locked the door and watched them burn
they started hitting the walls with raiding violent intentions, they ended up hitting the walls in despair of escaping this hell they created for themselves
In my modded rimworld, I dont know which mod does this, even if my base isnt walled they still go through mountains, or wall obstacles to get to parts of my bese least defended by turrets and or sand bags.. and when Im fully walled, they always sap the weak link of my defenses using thumpers, and breach axes, so its more fun combat wise, maybe CE..
Breach axes were just recently added to Vanilla. Update 1.3 I think. So this fire trap probably wouldn't work as well now. A couple hits with breach axes and they'd be through the walls.
Thats not self serving and enemy ran away once ignited which make it kinda useless if there's not enough flammable or when enemy is still too close to entrance/simply too many
unfortunately everything burns including all their loot tho so not as awesome if you're wanting to get loot. If ur just wanting a quick way to kill them without fighting then top notch!
It takes some fine tuning but you can build one that preserves the loot, basically make the entire trap fire proof but have some wooden floors that a colonist lights on fire, it’s also good to have extra doors so you can “vent” the heat in the trap so the raiders don’t die, allowing you to strip them
