I show you how to fix a Ring Chime Pro that is all setup to your ring door bell but when the doorbell rings only the doorbell from front door rings and not the Ring Chime Pro that is inside your home. Hope this helps.

Just wanted to thank you. I've had the door bell and the Chime for over a year and I always wondered why the chime never worked. Didn't think it was something so simple like going into the settings.

Dude you are a life saver! I followed the instructions and tried several times but nowhere (instructions and during installation) did it state to turn on the bell notification for the door bell chime on your settings. Great! Thanks RING.. NOT!. But thank you sir from a major headache! Cheers! 😀

Suddenly my Ring Chime Pro didn't sound when someone pressed the button on Ring Doorbell. Additionally, my Ring Doorbell was not announcing the greeting. I removed the RD and did a Reset before I found your video. I checked the settings as you say but I found the sound icon was already on. So, I turned it Off and then back On and it started working again.

Not the issue. Whenever I plug it back in since we had to move it to a different location, it doesn’t come back on. I’ve pressed the button on the side for 15 seconds, and five seconds and nothing works.

@@maudiduurham7870 my dad had to get a replacement. Your best bet is probably the call ring and ask for a replacement chime, and explain what’s going on.

I can’t believe how many people in this comment section had no idea to turn it on in the app… I thought this video was satire- I have the same issue as the person who wrote THIS comment.. mine is showing “on” in the app. It shocks me how many people just didn’t have it “on” in the app.

The chime wont even light up when i plug it in no power goes to it ive tried different outlets i know work but i dont get the set up light when I plug it in and hold the button

I'm have the opposite problem. problem. I no longer get the chimes on my phone. When I upgraded from the Note 20 Ultra to the S22 Ultra I no longer hear those chimes.

Try this… unplug ur router/modem from wall socket plug back in after 30 seconds…. Give another 30 seconds then try again… if no go try it again

That is dumb, they should allow us to turn it on and off by the plug... my landlord has the app on his phone and he is not here... I am expecting a delivery and now have to watch the window till it comes.... it seems like companies are becoming more and more useless....
