BRO SO TRUE I WHISPERED IN MY CAM TO PRANK MY NEIGHBORS BUT THEY COULD HEAR IT

I thought that only controls Volume when someone is pushing the button. I don't want that to make any noise only on the inside of the house. Does it also control your voice volume when you're speaking through the ring speaker?

I do not think you can increase the mic sensitivity, I have personally never streamed my cameras to a fire tv before so I can't answer that. Are you streaming an individual camera or are you on an app or Ring.com and streaming thru their webpage? Just sounds like your making something work that wasn't designed to work that way, not that it's wrong. You can also contact Ring, they are owned now by Amazon and if there is no solution right now to what you are doing, they are good about listening to customers and that is how new things are created...

The chimes tab is there for the "Chimes" like the Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro. If you did not have an existing doorbell it would allow you to change your ring tone to a different melody inside the home. I thought the same thing at first, I also didn’t see a ringer bar. So it’s go to front door, device settings, general settings, then select volume settings doorbell sounds and turn it all the way down to the left. Hope this helps.

You can do that. Hit the little gear and then toggle off motion warning..

Try going to device settings, privacy settings, make sure the Audio Streaming And Recording is turned on. If not you may just have a bad microphone in the unit.

@@Goddessvenom No problem, sorry there really isn't much else to check on there, you can contact ring.com/support/contact-us for more info but my experience, would say bad microphone.

Go to the camera you are having issues with, hit the little settings gear by it. Once you get there go to "Device Settings", "General Settings", "Volume Settings" and turn up the Doorbell sounds. See if that solves the issue. Thanks for watching.

@@safesoundsystemsinc2005I’m having the same issue. Whoever is outside can’t hear me talking cause the audio is really low. Tried highering the doorbell volume and it did nothing.

A bit late but did you remove the plastic film that is over the speaker on the bottom of the doorbell. It covers the speaker
