Some of us might hate these colour but remember we all have different taste in what we think looks good and they're not trying to please us, they're pleasing their customers. Once the customers like what they did our opinion doesn't matter.
Oh man, I do NOT like the brown walls. Everything else is fabulous but the paint color... definite no. Wait, now the green.... It already looks outdated. They're gonna have to repaint in a few years (if not now)
I cannot believe that gorgeous fireplace by the kitchen was touched in any way. It could have easily balanced out the green (which is stunning btw). The shiny brown in the living area was....a choice, but the furniture is fantastic throughout.
Hector Lalalala: yeah, I am with you on this, the brown does make it look muddy, almost like a hut in the middle of Africa. I did like the green in the kitchen, but the brown is quite depressing.
Those brown walls are disgusting. I'm sorry but they really are. Makes my stomach hurt - which is ironic considering the colour. This is the first time I've said anything bad about N and J's work.
The house is actually gorgeous. I agree the brown is too strong but the design is pretty cool. The living room and kitchen area look like two different houses
Why is Jeremiah always squeezing lemons??? Well I'd like to squeeze his lemons tbh. Okay now I feel terrible because of what happened to Nate. And I feel extra guilty being from India.
I googled an article sometime ago that the homeowners of this case said something like they weren't so sure about the brown wall color but they loved the green wall so that's that.
The only walls I like are the ones in the kitchen, but as long as the owners are happy, that's all that really matters. Also, I know sometimes it looks way different in person than it does on television
TBH I really like the brown. I just think It's a bit too much for that space as there isn't enough light in that room to have such a dark colour, I would have gone with a sage green or a grey but. I love everything else !!
The brown walls are just hideous. The room would have looked well with a lighter neutral or something in the grey family. She said she hated beige but that vile shade of brown is only beige in a nightmare. The bright green kitchen...overkill. Why such a riot of strong colors. Uck
Bahaha.. She says apon entering.. "holy crap!" Ahh you got THAT right lady!! 😂O.k so to me it looks like they took two Crayola crayons & melted them on the walls.. sh*t Brown, and institution green , or correction house green?.or maybe like an old camp cabin from Friday the 13th color scheme.. Not sure..but anyway So awful! No accent color on any trim to break it up.. just solid poop. Not remotely their best work. On a positive note I usually like their designs a lot.. don't know what happened here..
What the hell happened? I understand an all-brown theme with a coordinating green, but they just missed getting the right kind of brown and green. It looks like a melted milk chocolate bar instead of a sophisticated and elegant brown. Wrong shade of brown!
Not my taste in color but "if the client's happy, then we're happy"... But really, Nate and Jeremiah -- could you not have selected colors that were a tad less pukey???
House is pretty cool, I just think that the dude married a gold digger. She's basically whining and threatening divorce unless she gets what she wants out of the house.
Nate and Jeremiah owe this couple an apology. The walls in the entire house are horrendous. It will cost a small fortune to repaint those dark walls. What the hell were they thinking? I know they can do better. We would NEVER see this crap in their home.
Ive seen nate and Jeremiahs work in the past; and ive love all of theirs;;; BUT this one is HIDEOUS??? IT LOOKS LIKE THAT SLAPPED ON BROWN AND GREEN ALL OVER MOLDING AND FIREPLACE... Sorry Guys not your best...
Lol....the real life Freddy and Stuart from the Vicious tv show really did a number on this house. Nate looks like he sleeps under a bridge and his wife looks like she sprays lubricating oil on his salad. No thanks. Um, I have to admit it, I love the Vicious tv show. :-D
Ceiling at least should have been off white, not green, so few windows, and no white trim with brown walls. Owner could have done this with $100 worth of paint themselves.
