Here is one way to get your little one into a back carry with a ringsling!
Typically some good markers to wait for before getting into a back carry with a ring sling are very good head and trunk control at minimum- waiting until they can sit independently can also be a good indication that they are developmentally ready. Waiting until they sit independently can also make it easier for those less familiar with babywearing to more comfortably get them into position.
What do you think about the style of video? Does it help more to see it slowly talked through? I'm working on having more of a variety. I know this style can be helpful to some where a quick demo can be enough for others. Plus, the quick demos tend to get more people viewing the videos and then hopefully being helped long-term!
Have you tried getting into a back carry with your ring sling?
This is the @hopeandplum ring sling from their hemp blend collection. I highly recommend all of their products, they are all incredibly easy to use from the first time you open the package. And, you can always get a discount with code LETSTALKBABYWEARING 🎉

I wore a sling for about 8 years and never did this! I used a back pack for cooking, to keep little fingers away from danger, but I wish I had tried this.

I’ve always wondered if a back carry was possible with a ring sling. Is it more comfortable than a front carry with a ring sling? My shoulder gets tired when trying to carry in a ring or the ring digs.

It's going to provide similar comfort- but some find having the weight shifted to the back is significantly better on their body in general, but you'll have the same pressure points.

how can you prevent a seat pop or if they lean too far?
