I just replacing ring for eufy ,the subscription on ring its rip-off

Yes, forget 1080p on any security cam. It is not worth it and you will find out why when you need to zoom in to see an object. Just not enough pixels. Really like my Eufy cams... doorbell and floodlight and NO fees. Be aware though that when you only have a micro SD card in the cam to store all your captures it can easily be stolen right off the wall. Eufy has updated this to newly revised version of the doorbell.

Just put the eufy into my amazon basket , hoping the 2k with base station will drop in price soon. Can get for 99 refurbished, which has a 1 year guarantee from Amazon, and i can tell you that refurbished is basically a return with absolutely no sign of use. I always get refurbished phones and will have no problem getting the refurbished yufy. Now just what to do with my ring 2 as nobody wants the ring doorbells now cloud storage has increased from 3.49 to £5 per month. No thanks i could buy a yufy like this one every year for the same as a subscription but i am going for the much updated 2k yufy. Shame how ring has priced themselves out of the market and is not as good as the yufy, Also, if you don't like the yufy for whatever reason, there are a few others very well reviewed devices that do the same. Additionally with software updates the motion detection on the yufy is much improved.

I have the eufy and it's shite. the delay is so bad.

Yes you can view video footage anyway in the world and you also have a cloud option too. Most come with a homebase rather than just a chime. The homebase acts as a harddrive for videos, chime and central console.

I agree, they charge a fee for features that should be free, and are free on competitor products.

Not forgetting if your door bell is nicked it’s unusable to someone else, not sure about Eufy with it using local storage. Also as part of the subscription the doorbell is replaced free of charge if nicked.

From next month the basic subscription goes up to £49.99 a month. That is double what it was two years ago. This is a good indication of direction of Ring. Think hard before you buy one!

You can save to the Chime in the house if you like, which is much safer or the home base which you can hide

Not both Eufy stores full video locally unless you want to upload, just a thumbnail is stored on a eufy server so police can't really see much.

Not true. Be careful when you upload bs in public domain for everyone to see.

I'm on my third replacement Aosus Ultra, none worked from the beginning, Aosus gave up and are refunding me, trying Eufy next with my refund money.

@@mrdunn1in Thank you. Quick question if you don't mind, i live in the lower part of a split entry house and my modem/wifi router is in the far bedroom, would i still be better off with a Homebase than a chime? Thanks, i plan on placing an order for an Eufy.

@@dennisdoyle9189 Hi, I'm not too sure about that. If you use a homebase I expect you would connect it to your router via a LAN cable. This should give you the speed the same as what you get to your router from your provide, but then the homebase uses. WiFi to reach you doorbell. Your WiFi signal from the chime depends on how far the chime is from the router and the construction of the building you live in. Modern houses have less solid walls. If you still have the aosu app and still have the device connected you can check your WiFi signal by going to settings, about device. This will show you your strength from doorbell or where you are placing a chime. Hope this helps.
