We're doing this this year... we discussed that it's not the "buck up, life's not that bad" angle... cause I hate that message. I DO, however, know what it's like to be in a depressive slump, a shadow of yourself, and crying on the bathroom floor and having to give myself a pep talk like "suck it up - people can't see you suffer. Put a smile on your face even though everything hurts".
