Thanks for including your Equinox tones & numbers readings. They're great added training for Equinox & Manticore users like me to improve our hunts. I was able to correctly guess almost all of your coin finds from the sound/numbers and could tell what was NOT going to be a coin. Fantastic haul for you today. Keep it up! 😄
I was born and raised in Monterey, but I live in Virginia now. I left Cali in 1989. I enjoy watching your videos because I miss Central Cal a lot, and all of those beaches bring back awesome memories. Plus, I love metal detecting vids. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. 👍😉
25:20 “Tree Fidy?! You da Loch Ness Monster!” 😂 Dude, congrats on such a great haul! That chain is the stuff that dreams are made of and some cool rings too! Hit me up if you ever make it down to the San Diego area ✌️
Dude, this has to be if not THE most rewarding Hunt, totally in the top 3. Not to mention all the 3 fers. Clean the chain up and show us how it shined up. Sweet Vid and keep em coming !
You're quickly becoming my favorite to watch. NICE chain and silver ring! I enjoy you sharing your VID numbers, it helps me (us) a lot. I have the Nox900 and can closely guess your dig target.
I gotta test it to be sure, but if it’s real that’s hands down my best find! 🤑🤑🤑 my “comments held for review” section is wild right now! The haters are big mad 😂😂
We just got back to the heat of the valley Thursday spent 5 days over the Fourth of July at Pismo Beach it was windy cool and overcast. I took the new Manicore to the beach for the first time and didn't do to well one junk ring some clad and a ton of crusty zinks. I was running Beach low conductors and Beach surf. I have dug that beach for years and never seen anything like the way it is now. sense the winter storms all the sand is gone and digging is hard, there is a blanket of clams just below the surface. The round nose scoop like yours had a hard time getting through them without damaging them. I should have taken my pointy scoop for digging in rocks might have gotten between them better. I was impressed with the depth of the Manicore. I was pulling coins from 12 inches or deeper and a tinny gold earring back at 6 inches rang a solid 7. I haven't been digging much sense covid haven't wanted to deal with the threat of hotel rooms but I need get over to the coast more. You did really good I enjoy your videos a lot
What a great hunt you had there. I have never heard of 14-karat gold tarnishing like that, 10-karat yes but not 14 k. That silver ring with the heart and Stones is gorgeous, hope you have similar success in your future hunts 👍
All that gold and silver is certainly nice but a "like new" tent stake really gets my heart racing! 😂😂😂 Congrats on one of your best hunts I've ever watched. It makes up for some of your recently less-spectacularr ones.
Wow great day! I'm just starting with the 900 and wonder if you would have found that same jewelry if you would have notched out the bottlecaps (or at least the most common caps). The good thing about your vids is you can go back and see the readings/sounds on your finds.
Nice! The color reminded me of a couple I’ve seen in Jim’s videos. Any tips for cleaning it up? Or is it stuck like that? I ordered an ultra sonic cleaner so that should help a little hopefully
@@MontereyMagnetMan ultra sonic should totally help. Being that it’s a chain it might be a bit harder to clean. I have put a lot of gold that is discolored in CLR. Jim also uses a cheap brand of toilet bowl cleaner.
I'm dying of jealousy up here in Buffalo, NY. We only have a few small state beaches which I found out after dragging my gear out that they BAN metal detecting at between Memorial Day and Labor Day. I found one tiny town run beach that was like 3" of sand and then mostly egg sized round rocks. Painful to dig in and nothing but old scrap metal pieces to be found. I'd be at the beaches every day detecting if I could!
@@MontereyMagnetMan Thank you! i’ve just been using a handheld detector for a while, but i’ve been saving up for a better one, and this one seems to fit. Thanks again!
No, I usually let it get down to at least 1 bar on the battery before I charge it. Or if it’s around half battery I’ll plug it in to my cigarette lighter and give it a quick little charge on the drive to the beach.
I hope you can make it out this week! We get a nice negative tide and the beaches have been packed! I’ve been watching all the cameras on Surfline and it looks like Miami Beach out there 😂
585/583 is another way to denote 14k...58.5% purity, so it can get a bit grungy from the other 41.5%...Happy Independence Day to All...Welcome to Costco I love you...🤩🤩
Yes, I absolutely will! I soaked it in toilet bowl cleaner like Jim does then scrubbed it with a soft brush and it got a few shades lighter. I ordered an ultrasonic cleaner so we’ll see how that works when it gets here.
@@MontereyMagnetMan it was sarcasm , I was referring to the tabs in the beginning of the video . Just giving you a hard time, I could give a shit lol .
Yea it’s a weird color for sure. I soaked it in a few different solutions and it got a few shades lighter. I’m waiting on my new acid test kit to get here from Amazon then I’ll post a video with the results
