Not all of my coating clients end up on the maintenance program or taking me up on the "wash-n-learn" package I offer. This video is exactly what I want to send to those customers to help coax them away from the automatic brush tunnels. So quick and safe and I love that you went start to finish instead of the usual of just demo-ing on a single panel.

Been doing Rinseless only since I discovered it, haven't used car soap once since 5 years ago and I detail full time and no it's not cheap car washing, I work on high end vehicles, luxury daily drivers and show cars. Never had a single complaint about using Rinseless and some clients even brag about how "my detail guy can clean my car without a water hose".

When you're first starting you're gonna have a lot of down time if you're not established, so use that time and hit the road and drop your business cards in real estate offices, someone you may see at a parking lot with a nice vehicle and never approach trying to sell them, simply make them aware you're the detailer in the area in case they ever need anything and that's it. Go the extra mile in making sure whatever customers you have you're doing the job right the first time, don't over book yourself so that you're not rushing things and very important, work on your own personal development, customer service and communication skills. You can be a great detailer, but if you look, talk and behave unprofessional, it's a big turn off for people and one of the main things my clients comment on is my customer service. What's funny is that I'm not a "YES MAN", I'm firm but I'm fair and I listen to their concerns. Post on your local neighborhood Facebook groups if allowed but don't be spammy, post on the Nextdoor App and every single time you finish a job, ask them to leave you a review if they're happy with the work and if not to let you know. Have a website and a Google page. A website can be a big selling point for some people, the right client will want to know about you before even considering you, so a website helps as a presentation before they decide to contact you. Gotta have money saved up to cover bills for 6 months just in case cause typically, unless you already have a strong supporting network, you're gonna have to struggle for that 1st year or longer. Most quit, but some of us see it as a marathon and keep at it. Be frugal with your spending, don't fall into the trap of buying every fancy chemical out there and stick to what's giving you results until you can afford to experiment with something else IF you feel like it could make you more efficient.

If it’s dirty/ has accumulation, just like with soap, rinse it off first.

Use 2 bucket method for the rinseless wash and you can wash 2-3 cars with the same water

I've tried rinseless. It's okay but I seldom do it unless it's very cold. I prefer a cheap foamer attached to garden hose. No pressure washer. I do my entire car in twenty minutes or less. Although the amount of protection on my car reduces drying to a minimum. It almost dries itself.

@@PhilRuybal fun tip: go to lowes and pick up the Husqvarna brand 2 gallon sprayer. It is allegedly rated @ 80PSI. Not sure if that’s quite true but it’s the strongest pump sprayer I’ve found. I can fill that with 2 gallons of ONR pre spray, and use it to pre treat 3 sedans and rinse off APC from the tires with it. Underrated sprayer that gets trumped by detailing branded ones.

I didn't realize how much I missed rinseless until we did this video...just the time with master blaster blowing out the water....fighting drips etc ...takes forever

Ive been using Greenstar as a pre spray 10:1, rinse and then a waterless wash (go to Mckees sio2 RW/WW) comes out fantastic.

Rinseless doesn’t require a drying aid. Here we used DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss

It’s 2 buckets in one, the inner red bucket has holes in the bottom. It does the same thing as a grit guard.

Investing in a good sprayer is key, but even they can break down on ya. So it goes....

Even a garden sprayer can do the job.

Pre rinsing just like you do for soap

What you’re seeing is polymer spots, basically where the rinseless has encapsulated the dirt and dried on the surface. I guess he just missed a spot while drying, otherwise that wouldn’t be there

Your customers a paying for a result, not a process.

Rinse less is a nice convenience but its really not going to cover everything, your going to need a pressure washer with access to water if you want to seriously consider mobile detailing. As mentioned, you are not marketing a procedure, your customer could careless,

Many good APC’s from reputable detailing brands are safe.

As long as the dirt was hit with either the presoak or the sponge applying the RW the dirt should be encapsulated. The drying aid will help as well but isn't necessary. Of course you could lightly mist with the RW solution before drying if it's in direct sunlight or the panel is heated for whatever reason.

What I do is pre rinse with solution, then wash entire car. Then respray panel with onr solution as I dry. I do this in 85 degree weather in the sun with no issue with water spots

Try rewetting with the same APC.

Nothing wrong with doing both. Rinse less is great when you are limited for time or access to water. Also when it’s too hot. And the fact you can do wheels with rinseless too is amazing stuff !

sometimes it's better to take it to the local self wash tunnel and pay for a minute or two of pressure washing. Get the gunk off the car, the wheels and wheel wells, even the undercarriage. and then drive it home and do your rinse less wash.

It’s not waxed.

Best thing to do its spray car down with rinse less and then pressure wash it (foam optional). This cleans off more than using a alkaline foam. Then just just washing it by hand. Just one extra step.

@@amounifnd A rinseless WILL NOT clean the car off in the prewash stage like an alkaline foam like bilt hamber auto foam. Not even close.

@@whitegoodman7465 It is in the context of the Rinseless wash. You should not be using a Alkaline foam for regular washing, especially if you have a coating. Well at least ones that work like the Carpro Lift.

@@amounifnd Bilt Hambers products do NOT hurt proper LSPs. Especially their Touchless presoak which has slightly better cleaning power then autofoam. They both have superb cleaning power compared to other snow foams, carpro lift, and especially rinseless prior to pressure washing. Even a cheap spray wax will hold up to dozens and dozens of washes before being degraded by autofoam & Touchless. If you’re coating is going to be diminished by these 2, you should probably consider a better alternative.

Those were hard water stains in the clear coat... You need to correct the paint with a polisher to remove those. The paint was as clean as it could possibly get.

I don't live in the dessert but every time I foam and pressure wash there is still dirt so if your drying agent isn't a rinsless or water less your probably dragging dirt

@@jesusgaona5189 I am using the smallest pressure washer I can get. Also chemical guys foam cannon soap. So the car sits in a carport here in the desert where we get high winds. So after two or three day it has a noticeable coating of dust/sand. I rinse it off with the garden hose using a soft stream, rincing from the top. Then I foam the whole car, let it set for 4 minutes. Then rinse it with a soft spray with the pressure. Once all the soap is off I blow all water off with an EGO blower. Then I go over the whole car with Technicians Choice Ceramic Detail Spray. The car looks perfect after this. With how much dust/sand is on the car, putting that no rinse on would do nothing but make little mud balls....a real mess.

Lubrication is a good thing when drying, because drying is when you have the greatest risk of scratching paint. So I would say use a drying aid for safety....

@@ryeguy01 I haven't gotten around to using the Ultima yet since I still have a bunch of Opti-Clean, but I did purchase it because the net cost per gallon of solution is roughly one-third that of Opti-Clean.

Yes, the Rinseless solutions with wax, Si02, and Graphene are good, and once mixed are very stable. Over time the colour will fade, but they will still be effective.

@@charleyschaubroeck6301 correct, it was rather cool out, and cloudy. I neglected to take into account the fact that at 4500 feet of elevation in Utah, basically too low of ambient humidity.

@@charleyschaubroeck6301 Try it! These were polymer spots I think. Like Yvan said, humidity was low and getting interviewed at the same time doesn't help. Luckily, they're easily removed, just wash again. I would probably have washed half the car and then dry it. I rinseless wash (no pre-soak and the Ultra Black Sponge) my car 1-2 times a week and haven't noticed any added swirling. I'm sure it does a bit, but certainly not on the roof or hood where It would bother me most. If I take 15 minutes in my garage on my 93' Civic (excluding wheels), I get near perfect results. No streaks or spots on glass or paint. No need to use DI water with a good rinseless, they're excellent water softeners.

Yep! I prefer some kind of sio2 or ceramic detailer spray as my drying aid especially if the panel has dried even a little bit or you can lightly spray on some more ONR before wiping. This is a great way to wash your car 3 out of every 4 times or so lol but once a month I still love me a foam cannon and soap:)

Use whatever wheel cleaner /Degreaser you like and then mop it up with a microfiber that's rung out from your rinseless wash

@@2busytv166 I do it when only necessary but when using iron x, I have a pump sprayer with just water in it(during winter) and I rinse really well and then mop up with rinseless wash

@@2busytv166 yeah you're right it's more preferred.but you make do with you got..its more time consuming but you make do with what you have..but at the end of the day you're still rinsing and then you're washing it afterwards.

Just cleans the paint :) doesn’t degrade paint
