Agreed. Tho i have never wrestled. I've done some Bjj but mostly i do kickboxing. Wrestlers are beasts. Im from finland and i still hear stories about Pertti Ukkola, Greco Roman wrestler who won Olympic gold in 1976. He ran 4000m in cooper running test and could do 10 one arm pull ups. Wrestlers are top athletes.

It will come back with the popularity of UFC/MMA. Submission Wrestling combine BJJ and classical Wrestling.

@@flowrepins6663 I don't live in Cuba anymore, I left eons ago. There is a lot of government control especially in the form of business. As soon as someone succeeds in business they take from you. Even if you're a farmer they will buy crops/livestock at prices they set and they don't allow you to sell to others. Their internet access is not completely cut-off, but very limited and poor quality. They get internet access via cards they have to buy. There are areas that do intranet to game and see movies in their neighborhood (theres a video on this on RU-vid).

@@fulaan1 The government promises food and other prospects. You either sweat in farming fields, work small hour jobs, sell on the streets, study, or do sports. There isn't much opportunity especially with Communist restrictions on business. Baseball, Boxing, and Wrestling are the three big sports that are scouted for most.

@@orjinal5601 It's not enough but if you could put together some decent striking and do like one year of BJJ, you're gonna be ahead of the game. Wrestling is the single most important factor in MMA, it allows you to control where the fight goes.
