Probably the best figure ive bought for 2023. From the sculpting accuracy, combining gimmick, diecast material, range of articulation and accessories, this figure really impressed me in more ways than one. All thats left is a giga drill accessory and it'd be perfect.
Hey DiegoDoom,I just wanna say that I've been watching your channel for around 5 straight years, and you've always been my comfort RU-vidr. I remember I would love watching the Ultraman reviews, the way the camera angles the shots and the sound effects all come together is something that's almost nostalgic to me. I hope you're genuinely doing well and keep doing what you love❤
Thank you sooo much. Thanks for riding with me for these past 5 years. I’m really thankful that you enjoy my content. I love collecting, showing what I have and trying to help people collect fantastic stuff.
Got this instead of preorder SOC ver, mainly because of the glowing drills, individual articulated fingers, and how they kept the arm joints anime accurate (ball) instead of a weird rectangular double joint
@@DiegoDoom I like the SOC, however the giant drill stand imo doesnt warrant enough pros for purchase, Gurrens eyes seems very cheap to make them clear plastic circles, and the gold side skirts feels like they're constantly out at an angle. speaking as someone who has gx-77 and gx-48k
i thought it was a little high priced but went for it because sentinel has done fantastic robots in the recent years, (legios, ride armor, riobot tekkaman, riobot rockman X, Re:edit iron man) and was not dissapointed, it's a fantastic toy to play with
I'm so glad this turned out as good as it did. It's just so gorgeous and moves so well. Just wish it had a true Giga Drill and not the long skinny ones. Now, we just wait for the Soul of Chogokin Gurren Lagann and hope Bandai doesn't leave it in the "Hey look at this prototype on display we will never actually release" pile.
@@yamabushi_nate7825 The spinning gimmicks is alright but definitely looks like the size of drill I wanted. Kinda wish they had a stand included to hold it out in front of Gurren Lagann but I just hope it can be done like how the SRC could
@@RallenRiko Yeah it's a cool gimmick but it causes the figure price to be unreasonable compared to this Riobot figure. Difficult to say which looks better this time but the SoC is too expensive.
@@yamabushi_nate7825 SoC figures do tend to call for a big price tag. I'm still going to get it but I understand maybe waiting for a discount. I just don't like how quick these things can sell out 😅
I've had a blast with this toy. I love the heft & the rock solid feel of it. The transformation is really solid & I can't resist the urge to pick it up & play with it.
I own the figure, turns out you can just pop it in by briefly pressing the head in quick so it activates. I figured that out and the head attachment fits very strong
Heyyyy Man! Thanks for stopping by! Thanks for watching my review! The CCS Toys version is fantastic too. I hope the SOC version can keep up with everyone else.
@@s_gokin7421 Thanks for riding with me all this time. I have plenty of Gokin reviews on the way. I subscribed to your channel. You should make RU-vid reviews too!
Massively overpriced for such a small/non transforming figure. Compared to takara MP jetfire/skyfire, a high-quality COMPLEX ENGENDERED (which justifies the cost) but is still 40 dollars cheaper than the lowest retail on this toy.
