They do this exact thing in WildRift. It tells u when u start a match by saying "the lanes are switched" It does take away top and bot in name and makes them Baron lane and Dragon lane

riot as an indie company simply cannot afford the resources to do that unfortunately

they wouldnt even have to do any texturing, the whole map is already textured, as can be seen in the unlocked camera in the spectator tool. so basically, it hasnt happened because riot is lazy

Yeah, and a system that pushes you towards 50%WR from any side is definitely unfair too. You’re not rewarded for playing well or not being toxic It will always hurt the players who don’t deserve it more. Even though you will climb if you’re good enough it’s extremely demoralising and creates toxicity. If I win too much I am way more likely to get bad players, inters and afks. If climbing was more fair people wouldn’t quit the game or be as toxic. (Not that it justifies being toxic) Riot fucked up by letting the game be so toxic in early seasons and it became normalised. Most players are babies and shouldn’t play ranked while the people who are truly competitive and try to win every game suffer. There is no incentive to not be toxic or try your best, if I don’t suck, mental boom or FF the system should match me with similar players. Perfect way to do things? Probably not but definitely better

a problem that only affects high elo. matchmaking being rigged isnt keeping you from climbing out of silver. or gold. or plat. or emerald. or diamond. or even masters. This is an issue to a very small group of people - and it should be fixed for those people.

99.9999999999 % of players will be on either side close enough to 50 % of the time. It doesn't matter for anyone that isn't at the top of challenger or at the bottom of Iron.

League player base has a short memory. All MOBAs started out exactly as you describe. They developed into the meta we have today. The truth is this: no type of champ is obligated to do anything in any particular lane. Toplane is not just for bruisers, midlane is not just for casters etc. If you, the player can make it work, then do it. There is no use in complaining about things that do not affect 99% of the playerbase.

Actually losers queue has been a official thing for some time in WR at least, we even had a patch trying to balance it because people found ways to exploit the system While people debate in PC if it exists, in WR the developers are made clear It was a thing an they were going to balance it

@@usarhabilidade2697 it definetly exists on pc, its not a conspiracy, league cant be the only game that doesnt have engagement based matchmaking, its skill based + engagement based matchmaking, the game designer on riot games matchmaking previously worked on activision blizzard and all their games have confirmed engagement based matchmaking too
