Hmm, yes, cardio is the ultimate heart builder which is aerobic not anaerobic. I'm 46, vax free, have had covid once. I'm bradycardic due to a lifetime athletics - my pulse, at time of writing this, was 54 bpm - the lowest it goes, at rest, is about 44 - 42 bpm. Can do weights fine - just recently stopped powerlifting, 'cause I overdid it on shoulders so just taking a break. Can still run, no problem, although need high-end shoes, to minimize knee pain. When the joints and muscles start to go, the last thing keeping you alive, is your heart. Condolences to family and friends. Also, a good looking body is not evidence of a healthy diet and lifestyle - you could be doing or eating one small thing that doesn't suit your particular genetics. It is common for most athletes, pushing 50, to be in HRT - I am not. Nutrition becomes a lot more important, as you age, as your system becomes less efficient and starts to break down.
@@camjones1106yes you can actually. Some people are born with congenital heart anomalies that don’t show up on scans. Also people can have hereditary conditions such as not enough enzymes to break down bad cholesterol. Without suspicion and subsequent treatment this can kill you even if you are a marathon runner.
Last thing you want to go out is your heart. Maybe think twice before saying "My heart goes out........" about a guy who's heart went out. 🤔😢😌🙄 no pun intended
This is a little brilliant ad campaign from a respected fitness author and UFC fighter ,he's not dead. He's trying to prevent you from being dead . Clever ad ,funny, and direct, it got your attention. Bobby is very much alive and healthy .
I thought the “narrator” sounded kinda glib and indifferent not having the usual somber tone you would expect. Felt fishy. Thanks for letting g us know
@@knurri prayers for his family and friends. But no it is never to late to pray for someone as most people have an afterlife.... and by the way I'm a girl not a guy ......blessings
If I liked cocaine and died tomorrow, would your condolences still be so deeply respectful? He threw away his life causing grief and deep pain to his family. Because he loved something and he couldn't let go, lifting heavy things...
When I was in the RAF, there was a man in his middle 20's trying to reach Olympic standard on the 100 meter sprint. He raced up and down the course, straining every muscle and sinew to it's ultimate, in summertime heat. I came back from leave, and was told he had died on the track, from heart failure.. He was much too old to be able to reach Olympic level, having only started in his twenties. He would have needed to start in his very early teens to develop to the required level by his age. More ambition than sense.
Keep working hard man, your an inspiration. Training hard is good at any age, but some people are just too dumb to realize this, and also can't read the captions.
From what I gather he died being a naddy Which is a term for using steroids or similar hard core supplements, if I'm wrong please let me know , either way I don't care it's ur personal choice to use or not I've thought about it but, thankfully I never did. And glad . I will leave all that to the pros !
Watched a guy run at lunchtime everyday in our small town going ridiculously hard and said hundreds of times it didn't look healthy and he didn't make it back to work one day. From full speed to dead on the ground . May he rest in peace.
makes me reflect. I 56 years old but I trained hard for 25 years gave it up for 20 years got back into it still push myself harder than everyone in there. I have to go all or nothing or I feel I didn't give it my all.Going to failure with weights isn't a problem because I just go till failure but I like to also push myself till I drop on cardio which may overexert my heart but I have to go hard or go home because of the satisfaction that I have the heart and discipline to push myself knowing that most people won't. I need to learn to tame my ego and pride humble myself by the fact that I'm not a young man and damage myself to the person that some of these people do permanently
Bobby was a good man, he loved bowling, and lifting and bowling. He lifted weights all over from the coast of Belieze to the Islands of San Padre. He was taken from us to soon like many other brave men and women in the war. RIP Bobby.
Lol how long are you guys gonna blame every death on the vaccine? Swear its a miracle that so many people died of all kinds of weird stuff before the Covid vaccine. Cause now its the number 1 killer according to you lunk heads
That looks like Paul O’Connell , Munster , Ireland & British Lions Rugby legend . I could be wrong , and maybe it’s a digitally enhanced series of clips but the Munster pennant on the gym wall offers a clue . He’s currently Ireland Forwards Coach for the upcoming Rugby World Cup and looks just as fit now as in his playing days . One of the greats and a true Limerick legend
I almost that. SCARED THE LIVING OUT OF ME. I knew I was going die so I stopped and laid down. I slowed my heart rate down and didn't work out for three weeks. When your body says 'Hey, slow the fuck down son!' and kept going like my body was a horse. I know my limit now.
I heard a Chinese proverb once.. You body is like a car, you can't go out and expect to drive it hard and not it have breakdown, slow starts and stall out. The human heart only has so many beats. Just like a car engine will only get so many miles.
