“He was my hero… and he still is.” Tears for an icon, the voice behind the character, one we will always hear tied to the image. I will miss Kevin, but oh, what a gift we have to treasure until we see him again.
I’ve always been a Batfan and ever since i heard Conroy as the voice of Batman, i fell in love then and there. He was just so perfect at portraying Batman so well and when i heard that he passed away, it really hurts. He will always be the greatest Vengeance of the night and nobody can change that. Rest In Peace you amazing man.
Thank you Meg for paying tribute to this legend. Your video was how i found our about the news. Of course he was my hero but I was blessed to call him friend. Ever since we started talking on Twitter in January 2018, every time on my birthday in April he always sent a happy birthday message. My biggest regret is in 8 years as a voice actor I never got to work with him. But his legacy will live on for all eternity. HE IS VENGANCE HE IS THE NIGHT HE IS BATMAN! Rest in paradise my friend your bat wings are now angel wings 💔
30 years the definitive voice of Batman across multiple incarnations across media but of course most notably with Batman The Animated Series that continues to find new fans with each generation that gets introduced to this timeless show. Rest in peace, Kevin Conroy.
I was going to work when this story broke, I started to cry when I heard it. He was such a big part of my childhood and is still a part of my life. Anytime I read a Batman comic, his voice will always be the voice I hear when I read them. Rest in peace Kevin Conroy. You are truly missed.
Yeah, this hit me hard. 30 years listening to this legend voice my hero… listening to his voice has always been a comfort to me… And his voice will live on in my mind as Batman’s true voice.. Thank you Kevin Conroy for your art. 🦇RIP🦇
This is the episode I went straight to-to watch after I heard of the news of Kevin Conroys passing. As this episode took Bruce back to his childhood, Kevins voice and hearing all his Batman mannerisms took me back to my childhood….I’m going to miss him….he was my hero….😢
He is Vengeance he is the Knight he will always and forever will be Batman🦇🖤] he will be forever be our batman when i was kid his voice made my childhood ❤ rest in peace to absolute icon😟😭
Adam West passed away in 2017, and now Kevin Conroy just 5 years later. Going to watch the Gray Ghost episode again, and mourn both of my childhood heroes.
My sister just sent me a text about his passing. I cried I didn't expect to be hit by this news this hard. I was a kid when the series came out he was one of my heroes.
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are the only celebrities I’ve ever cared about. I always wanted to meet Kevin but it seems it’s too late now and I feel so bad for Mark. His Batman defined my childhood and is still a big part of my life today, and I’ll miss him forever
Just want to add this...two legends are featured in the clip used for this RU-vid Short...and both are iconic as Batman. Kevin Conroy, rest in peace. Though we view you as the best Batman, the voice of our childhoods...you are also alongside Adam West, the iconic comedic Batman.
Rest in peace Kevin Conroy November 30th 1955- November 10th 2022 you will always be the best Batman you are my childhood hero you created my childhood and everyone's childhood we will hear you one final time
I never watched BTAS and TNBA (or JL and JLU), growing up, it was past my time (I was born in 2006), but the character and world of Batman-and DC Comics at large-means so much to me, and Kevin WAS Batman. That's why his death is so impactful to me, because he put on the greatest portrayal of Batman-a character who means the world to me-in history. Rest in peace.
Damn time flies I am 21 now and I remember back in the day when I asked my brother to do the killer croc section in Arkham Asylum because I was scared lol. The good old days… I’ll be sure to show my son these games in the future
Kevin Conroy inspired me into being a true Batman fan. Now I am going to make a 3D animated DC universe that will remind us that Batman can still amaze on screen.
Kevin was my introduction to the character and was a major inspiration to not just me but everyone for 30 years. I remember watching Batman for the first time in a episode of the Animated Series late at night when I was 6. I met him before in a convention and in 2020, my sister asked him to give me a birthday shout out on the Cameo app and not only did he do that, he went out of his way to spend 7 mins to give me the strength to face my insecurities and tell me it’s ok. In that I’m just like everyone else even with a hand disability & will do great things. He will be missed. 🙏🥺
I’m still kinda in shock. It doesn’t feel real that my favorite actor for Batman has passed. He was THE Batman, no matter how many other actors took on the role; and he always will be.
I met Kevin 7 years ago, he signed my copy of the Killling Joke we talked for about 15 minutes about the impact he had on my life and childhood, how I learned to read on batman comics and always read him in Kevin's voice
Rest in piece Kevin You will always shall be The voice of batman from the animated series Batman beyond And the Arkham games And you are vengeance you are the knight You are batman.

Whenever I watch an DCAU series with Kevin Conroy voicing Batman I would always say "I can't wait to meet him" but now... I say "he's gone, I'll never get to meet him". Even I wanted to say to him: Me: "ya'know when I was a kid I would always watch you play Batman in each animated series and animated movie, Batman along with Spiderman was my hero" Kevin Conroy: Really? :) Me: and he still is
