This thing would've been a nice tier 2 semi-auto rifle for the Germans in HnG and a suitable counterpart to the US M1 Carbine

Yeah I was wondering about that. Then maybe the m1 carbine can have its 30 round mag back. But then the soviets will probably have nothing or lend lease m1 carbines XD
