Trials Superstars marks the emergence of dirtbike riders as superstars with a remarkable, and controversial, meeting held in Yorkshire in 1976. The top trials riders were invited to attend the Superstars Trial, an event designed to recognise the racers of the day. Wonderful black-and-white film, with commentary from Stuart Hall, charts the whole meeting as we watch greats like Martin Lampkin, Malcolm Rathmell, Yrjo Vesterinen, Jean Marie Lejeune, Thore Evertson, Charles Coutard and more take on some of the toughest sections ever seen - true Off Road Superstars indeed. how bloddy sad RIP Martin I loved trails here in New Zealand to me the Lampkin family were my heroes along with many tothers to but Lampkin family it was family I watch this today 2020 and have tears in my eyes watching this what a great sport well remember my trial days best bunch of people I could ever meet from the top A grade down to my lowly clubman class I had so much fun not serious rider loved setting out a good trial

I rode in the 1980 and 81 Scottish Six Day Trial with Martin and Alan. Needless to say, there were a few places ahead of me.

Love the body-leaning, knees-hugging-the-tank, no stop, no clutch, one-too-many rear shocks classic trials....with even a KAWASAKI trials bike in the running.

Beau document sur le trial , en Belgique dans les années 60 , nous avions le trial Lamborelle de bons souvenirs , moto Triumph , Matchles , Bultaco etc.
