Ripping Up My Lawn and Moving an Irrigation Head & Line

I'm ripping up part of my lawn to move an irrigation head and irrigation line. Moving the irrigation line allows me to adjust my sprinkler head to get better irrigation coverage on my lawn. I also removed the sod in this area to expand the landscape bed to improve the look and design of my front and side yard landscaping. Came out great Ben and makes sense to make flower beds in areas that are a pain to mow. Nice color contrast against the house.

Great job Ben! Smart in moving that sprinkler head for a 180 pattern. Be careful with wood mulch too close to the house -TERMITES! A few of my neighbors had huge issues and had to remove the wood mulch and use either rubber mulch or stone. Great down to earth videos. Really enjoy them!

Thank you for that reminder. I'm beginning to consider using stone but not sure at this point. What do you use in your landscaping?

@@TheLawnGuardian Last year I started using Vigoro rubber mulch from Home depot.. I had been using cedar mulch but getting too old to keep lugging bags of mulch each year. The rubber mulch worked out GREAT! Color doesn't fade and basically put it down once and your good for many years. Since this was my second year, I just added a little more rubber mulch but that should be it for awhile now. No rubber smell. They actually use tires ground up but you wouldn't know it unless you really get close up. I'm sold on it!
