My Mustang could NEVER handle turns like that. Getting on power MID TURN?! No way. I'd be in the ditch. Surprised there's no understeer when you mash the gas either, and those scenes in the rain are incredible! Lots of grip given the conditions. Go Honda!
@@noahbolt we all do lol. But it seems to me that you’re probably entering the turn too fast, your car has a huge advantage on exit speed if you find the grip early in the turn by going in slower
Dude im a little dumbfounded that he hasnt already got it i mean its the best thing you can get How does he live with rev hang and that dog ass stock tune like daaamn... no offense but HOW 🤣
@@repingers9777 I drove my first SI stock for like 2 years and thought it was still great, but on the one I have now I did full bolt on and a tune all at once, couldn't believe what I was missing.
@mrecco9805 like to watch the content, but an FD2 and a converted SI to look like an FD2 is not the same. kind of misleading to people. t The FD2 TYPE R is on a hole different level engine wise , suspension wise , make up of the chassis and body slightly different
Glad to see your car back up and running strong. I am also located in CA, not far from the bay. Hopefully I will get to meet you guys soon. I also have a FBO Tuned Civic Si.
Hey I have a big question, I got the cluster from Eric jenson and heard that you disabled vsa does that mean you have no traction control permanently??
NGL unless you're tracking this car with a harness and helmet I would put the OEM steering wheel back on. You'll never regret having that airbag when something goes wrong.
FD2R engages at 5600rpm. Stock I rebuilt the motor with BC stage 3 cams and my mechanic started it at 6200rpm. I changed it later to 5500. In my opinion don’t need to go any lower.
Nice the new wheels look great and if you don’t mind where did you get the cluster and speedo from I notice you have the RR shifter light where temp use to be ! Thanks love the build bro
Honestly the blue wheels ruined the look of the car because the car is already blue, too much of the same color is never a good thing and it ruins the aesthetics. A bronze color would definitely stand out more.
Love the channel , found it like a week ago , binge watched some videos and as I kind of lost interest in the car scene a little while ago , I feel the early stages of getting into it again watching your videos lol I have a shitty 7th gen (not really shitty just fixing a lot of issues past owners caused) and would wanna have fun just like you guys keep the good content up guys
But FD2 is chasis code for Civic Type R 8th generation which was made for Japanese market. Don't turn people into mistake, you don't even have interior from CTR FD2. well yeah.
@@Seikers ok i checked your uploades, alright so don't say you have got FD2. you really uploaded film with title HOW TO INSTALL FD2 TYPE R SIDE SKIRTS ON FA5. Yeah dude soooo i'm driving an EK9 now
@@b1g_8oi5 i said the car is a conversion.. i’m not trying to fool anyone and fake that this is a Type R 💀 the mods that i’ve done to the car are OEM on the exterior which is an FD2 but the car originally is an FA5. I never said i changed the interior from an FD2 to an Fa5 so you’re confused. What i’m asking you is, if the car looks like an FD2 and i title the video it’s an FA5 there would be eyebrows raised as well, correct?? so there’s no way around the matter 🤦♂️
That's actually bad that you are that close to the calipers. When you're actually are on track the calipers tend to expand with massive amounts of heat which will then cause you to rub against the spokes of your wheels.
if it's strictly a daily driver, its probably best to leave it alone just cause of emissions sake. But if you live in an area where you don't need to smog, go for it!
@@ky7037 They seem to overestimate their importance if thats the case. What are the chances that cops would even watch this? Let alone lauch investigation?
