Some people go for a run, others meditate or go to the gym, but this is how I deal with a less than average day. I tend to focus more on the music than lyrics so I’m not 100% certain what this song is about (maybe someone can help elaborate?), but it is just the right tempo to let loose and hit hard. It’s easily one of my favourite Rise Against songs and I always feel heaps better after having a hit to it!
I know a lot of drummers have a go-to bad day song, curious to hear some others, comment them below!

i did this exact same thing for my 7th grade talent show, same song on drums. i didnt win or make it to the top 3 but i wouldnt have chosen any other song. this song surpasses opinions. this is a strong feels song. i love this song, period.

Kye, I hope your day made a complete 180 after pounding through this song! My personal favorite bad-day song to drum to is definitely Platypus (I Hate You) by Green Day for the subject matter and the intense drumming Tre Cool plays comparatively to his other work but some other ones that also do the trick are Philthy Phil Philanthropist and The Quitter by NOFX and also The Cog in the Machine by Lagwagon

Dude... seriously amazing. You are a really fucking good drummer in your own fashion... But to be able to emulate other drummers to such a high degree is amazing. You're a chameleon!
