दूरदर्शन आज भले हीं मार्केट से बाहर हो लेकिन जो संस्कार दूरदर्शन सीखा सकता है वो कोई नहीं सीखा पाएगा। मैं आज भी दूरदर्शन देखना पसंद करता हूं।

आपने पुराने दिन याद दिला दिए। उन दिनों हमारे सपनों में भी दूरदर्शन आता था। चित्रहार, रामायण, महाभारत, चंद्रकांता आदि हमारे जीवन का हिस्सा थे। सोचते हैं कि अगर कोई टाइम मशीन होती तो उन दिनों में वापस चलते।

जब से दूरदर्शन पर क्रिकेट मैच आते थे तब क्रिकेट मैच दिल से देखा जाता था ओर अब ऐसे लगता है देश के लिए नहीं सिर्फ़ पैसों के लिए खेला जाता है।। ओर interst भी खतम हो चुका है 😞

दूरदर्शन ने अपनी गरिमा हमेशा बना कर रखी,भले उसे नुकसान हुआ।मुझे रामायण,महाभारत और बुनियाद सीरियल बहुत अच्छे लगते थे।चित्रहार और रंगोली वा सन्डे इवनिंग में जो फिल्म आती थी उसका बहुत इंतजार रहता था।

मेरे भाई दूरदर्शन कभी बदला नहीं इसीलिए तो दूरदर्शन कि सभी इज्जत करते है .. दूरदर्शन कभी दूसरी चैनल और ott platform की तरह नंगापन नहीं परोसता दूरदर्शन देख के बच्चों में अच्छे संस्कार आते थे...और आजकल के बच्चे जो नंगापन ott पे देख रहे है उन से बच्चो के संस्कार पे बहुत बुरा असर पड़ रहा है .. हमारे लिए तो दूरदर्शन नी नंबर एक था और रहेगा ..

दूरदर्शन से तो 80's 90's वालो की बहुत यादे जुड़ी है 👉 मालगुडी... मुंगेरीलाल के हसीन सपने.. श्रीकांत...बुनियाद...हम लोग...सुरभि...चित्रहार... नुक्कड़... शक्तिमान.. रामायण...महाभारत...म्योमकेश बक्षी... सिंहाशन बत्तीसी...मिस्टरयोगी...यात्रा..👈 जो बच्चे ये सारी सीरियल देख के बड़े हुए है उसे इस हाई फाई वाली इंटरनेट की दुनिया में भी वो सुकून शांति और मज़ा नहीं आ रहा और मालगुडी डेज जैसी सीरियल ना कभी दूसरी बनी है ना कोई बना पायेगा..

एक समय था जब दूरदर्शन सबका चहेता एकमात्र चैनल था। जिस पर अच्छे अच्छे सीरियल, फिल्में और प्रोग्राम आते थे। लेकिन सैटेलाइट चैनल्स के आगमन के बाद दूरदर्शन अपनी लोकप्रियता खोता चल गया या यूँ कहिये कि अपने अड़ियल रवैये के कारण दौड़ में बहुत पीछे रह गया। मुझे तो याद भी नहीं आखिरी बार दूरदर्शन कब देखा था।

For most of us DD means nostalgia. But I want to say another thing that, there were shows on science fiction in early and mid 90s. There were shows about women empowerment along with devotional, historical and knowledge shows like Surabhi. But once Sas Bahu soaps started early 2000s DD lost the ground rapidly. But, I still think DD was more scientific, progressive 20 years ago comparing with today's melodramas.

Kaustav, DD was more Mature than the current TV channels showing Glamourous Nautanki/Melodramas - with "retarded Background Music". Every serial on DD was based on a good story; and they were not extended for 100s of episodes like the satellite channels have been doing since 2005. But the non-DD serials are very popular because it's very Glamourous and very Family-oriented. If the same type of serials were made in the 1980s, I am sure it'd have been Popular too. This is because people in India are brainwashed into watching cheap, Melodramatic films full of melodramatic flow of Emotions and all that.

🤗 Jo benchmark doordarshan ne set Kiya hai, aaj bhale hi duniya jitne bhi modern ho jaye jitne bhi technology aaye, lekin doordarshan ke 1% ki barabar bhi nahin ho sakta. Kya childhood tha humara aur ushe pehle bhi. Logon ko jodta tha doordarshan ek dushre se 😢. Shaktiman, Ramayan, Mahabharata, malgudi days, alif laila, Chandrakanta, Bharat ek Khoj, chitrahar, rangoli aur bhi bahat saare. Jaane kahan gaye wo din 😢😢. Kash wo pal aur ek baar roll back ho jaata 😢😢

Doordarshan was the spirit of India and no other business minded tv channels replace that. It's not the failure of the Doordarshan it's the collective failure of society I mean the fallen value system of our society. Doordarshan never endorsed nudity and vulgarisms. Our governments are controlled by private players hence government PSUs are failing everywhere.

We used to walk long at someones house to watch Saturday movie on doordarshan..ghar mein TV nahi tha...whatever plays on doordarshan we honestly enjoyed it... mazza hi kuch aur tha ush waqt...time has changed now but that was so much fun.

Privatisation was the need to boost television cum DTH economy in late 90's and rightly done by the Government, talking about Doordarshan it has never been completely out of popularity.Still maximum number of DTH platform used by Indians is the Free Dish system.

I am a 90s kid.. Grew up watching Doordarshan.. Those days were so sweet.. Will never come again those days.. Now there are so many channels but no interest... So 90s Doordarshan is incomparable.. Today's generation will not understand it

I was born in 1997. i started watching TV From early childhood 2003-04 . I remember I used to watch serials like AAPBITI , ANKHEN , CHANDRAMUKHI , SHAKTIMAAN , JASOOS VIJAY , Chamtkar , Junior G , Hari mirch laal mirch etc ... But since 2006 we shifted more towards Star utsav and started watching Ssshhh koi hai , Sonpari , Shaka laka boom boom , Hatim , Karishma ka Karishma , Princess Dolly , Antriksh , Sharaarat , Krishna Arjun . DD lost it's Hegemony after 2005-06. All childhood memories are golden memories.

In 2007, a show named chandramukhi came on DD which was really a good one. It is there on DD again. But the problem was it's last episode never came. And the story left incomplete plus the unnecessary characters in that show which completely ruined the amusement for that show. Even now when I watch this serial on DD (and few days back on DD retro), I've this thing in mind that the story is not going to complete so I just watch it for few minutes and move on to other channels.

It was Star TV that started as the first private player in 1990. However the channel was in English and mostly catered to an elite audience. Zee TV started off in 1992 and captured the Hindi audience and became the biggest private television channel then.

Been watching dd eversince my childhood & even used to love the advertisements of the 80s&90s,& as a huge music buff i reckon myself to be one of the lucky few who has even seen the terrestrial transmission(through tv antenna)of MTV on dd2 in the mid 90s,which wasn't possible even in the land where it was conceptualized.

I did watch DD from 1989 to 2005 during my school/college days, and left TV after that which I did not watch yet. In lockdown watched again, of course DD for older programs. From when DD tried to follow other channels by making poor programs just like them, but, in a poor way, it was out of the race. Also, many programs used to close suddenly due to internal and external politics and other factors. Lack of consistency, practicality and rigidness were some more factors. Still, by shifting to OTT and remakes of its own older original contents, it can be popular, but determination is needed, which is not there now due to govt control. DD even did not have copies of their own many of great programs which is a sad part. Pick the literature, give charge to some good directors, do some marketing and that will start again. Fix programs of week completely. Do live some matches, clean south indian and regional movies hindi/original.

Nice video sir. Loved the information shared about DD National. I totally agree with u sir. DD should have changed with time. I remember watching Mowgli (Jungle Book) on Sunday mornings, Mungerilal ke hasin sapne, Shammi Kapoor's serial based on Noah Sunday nights, Sunno Kahani & other nice serials of that time. Those were the Golden days of DD. Unfortunately it has lost its charm with time. Thanks for making a video on DD. Love watching u r videos.
