Rise of the Footsoldier 6: Essex boys in Space Tony, Pat and Craig go on a space mission to Mars to get hold of Martian ecstasy (the strongest in the galaxy)to sell back on earth in their Southend Clubs. Whilst on the red planet , they encounter some proper naughty Martians (who don’t take too kindly to Tony touching their bird’s green arse on arrival). Pat ends up pulling a laser gun and threatening their top boy/Martian and it’s a race against time get through the vortex back to earth.

Just watched it in cinemas and honestly it’s more of a comedy than action, laughing at how bad the choices the actors make most of the time and hard to watch a bald terry stone with a Bruce lee haircut wig trying to play as a young terry tucker effing and jeffing every sentence. At least it links to the original ROTFS and makes you think in the end.

Do love the Marbella one where pat gets his own back on Harrises ex bird.... Classic

they are getting old though. Tony Tucker went from being a fresh-faced 20yo soldier at the start, to a 45+yo guy with makeup trying unconvincingly to pass as same guy just 6yrs later (i.e. 26yo). Other than that I liked the film.

I rate Craig Fairbrass and Terry Stone is an entertaining guy but this whole thing has turned into a can being kicked down the road I paid £4.49 rental on amazon and it feels like that was the budget for most of the cast. The periodic element was good, the cars, clothes etc but it's not a scratch on the others and to be honest they weren't amazing but atleast the first one told a story that was relatively accurate but its really taken a dive now , entertainment but for the wrong reasons ..

Imagine how good this would have been if Terry Stone had stepped away from the role and they hired a young actor to play Tucker with Terry Narrating it like the original ROTFS. All I’m thinking from the outset here is too old. Shame really

As a DJ what I spotted immediately was that the mixer at the 20 second mark was a very, very modern Pioneer mixer. Back then it probably would’ve been a Numark 1775A as that’s what most clubs were using back then.

They are actually making another Rise of the foot soldier beyond this , due next year October same cast apparently, but adding a new character , Michael Myers …. Rise of the Footsoldier : Pat Tate & Michael Myers connection 1988
