It's actually "Knight of the Planet of the Apes" and it will have a mysterious masked ape called Ape Knight who wants to kill Caesar's descendandts for some reason

Eventually it will reboot with just the title "THE PLANET OF THE APES" in all caps, then "THE PLANET OF THE APES II"

The "NO" is also a reference to the originals, because the first ape who stood against his master said "NO" and the word "NO" is forbidden in Caesar's town during Battle.

@@tobiasbuhl2037 ive always seen maurice and koba as different sides of the same coin, meant to mirror each other in the way theyve reacted to their experience with humans, especially since theyre the smartest apes in the films next to caesar

Buck's reaction to Ceasar speaking is INCREDIBLE. Everyone in that scene is incredible

It also helps you relate more to Caesar being protective of him after being raised by him and being aware enough to know that it wasn't his fault that he got in that car.

The next villain in the franchise has also been confirmed to be a Bonobos as well; his name is Proximus Caesar.

Bonobos and chimps are both part of the same genus (pan). Bonobos are the closest species to us. When the concept of currency was introduced, they immediately began prostitution and scamming each other 😂😂 They generally have a middle part/balding appearance. They will also f you up and go bananas. Just some general chimp bonobo lore trivia for you folks off the top of my head (: Bonus fun trivia fact, humans are the weakest apes but are stronger than every monkey. A human is stronger than a baboon and a mandril. Humans also have stronger muscles than chimpanzees, however our ligaments and tendons aren’t strong enough to deal with that, so we can’t use our muscles to their full power. That’s why epinephrine lets mothers lift cars off babies, your muscles can do that but you’ll tear the muscle off the bone doing so. Chimps ligaments can deal with their muscles so they have more use of their muscles. Their max strength is weaker than ours, but we can’t reach our max strength

Yeah, Felton delivers the line and he sounds sort of pathetic which makes Ceaser’s response much more powerful. And from that point on for the rest of the entire trilogy a human would never look at ape the same way

I think second is the best but 3 is very close behind, I would say this one was by far the weakest of the 3 though still great.

Honestly that's something that I liked so much about this movie. There are so many things that went wrong simply because people messed up, and it was still done in a satisfying way

Well if we've learned anything from the most recent and ongoing pandemic, it's that a good portion of people would refuse to self-quarantine as a principle. Watching the end credits of Rise hit a lot harder after COVID started to spread in 2020.

I adore Tyler. I'd seen him in small parts and he was in Reaper as Sock and stole the show quite often but when he was in Tucker and Dale, he and Alan Tudyk have amazing chemistry and it's one of those movies I can watch over and over and never get tired of and whenever I have someone over who's never seen it I immediately get snacks and put it on. He's also just really cute and I'd totally marry him if I got the chance 😂

Ape energy baby

I love how common it was for the “NOOO!” scene to make so many theaters go silent in the moment. We had quite a few folks giggling throughout the movie because of “look at the monkey do that thing” then the “NOOO!” scene happens and the movie suddenly commanded a level of respect. Such a great scene!

Y'know, the filmmakers were actually aware of the similarities, which led to them making the working title of the film, Deep Blue Harvest, due to the fact that they were harvesting ideas from deep blue sea. coincidentally, Blue Harvest was also the working title of the original star wars from 1977. not a lot of people know that though.

Those weren't even Jaffa Cakes, they were something else entirely!

I genuinely thought this was gonna suck. I saw the trailer and rolled my eyes “ugh another prequel”. But I ended up seeing it because we had nothing else left to watch, and Caesar screaming “NO!” and the ending simian flu visualization really kicked this into something with great potential. Then they went ahead and made legitimately good trilogy.

The porch screen also scared me as a kid.
