Rise of the Resistance OPENING DAY at Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World! Full Experience!

I was there this morning. Absolutely fantastic. Find yourself a guy who looks at you the way Adam the Woo looks at Rise of the Resistance.

Finally, after years of guest complaints about lack of benches in ride queues, someone was able to get embedded seats against the walls. Took them long enough. I hope this becomes a future design trend. Oh, and the ride looks amazing! I'm sure tears will poor down my face when I can finally ride.

I remember wondering if they could really make it work if the people loading you into the ride vehicles, doing safety checks etc., were in character as bad guys. But, no, those ones are in character as good guys, much more manageable.

Loved your take in this new ride Jackie and all the vloggers you encountered. Long day for sure but much appreciated your effort in bringing this event to us👌👍 Thanks Sam for coming along too!

I finally rode this today. Stayed spoiler free for this whole time (a year?!)....WOW!!! So fun to now finally watch these vids too and see your reactions!!

I think the best part was the transport to the star destroyer, it really felt like you were on a spaceship the way it rocked around and moved. It was all perfectly synchronized! And that crazy moment when you walk out into the hangar I wondered "How did they do that?!" I also wanted to stop the ride and go check out those walkers! The scale and immersion of this attraction is just unbeatable! No way this will be topped any time soon!

Great video Jackie! My wife and I met you in Anaheim with Adam on May 31 when Galaxy's Edge opened at Disneyland. This ride may actually get more people in Galaxy's Edge. Since it opened, it has been kind of a dud. We went last Saturday for the Christmas festivities at Disneyland, and both Disneyland and CA Adventure were crowded, yet Galaxy's Edge was rather empty. There is nothing there that would make guests want to return and experience again. This Rise of the Resistance ride may change that. The Falcon ride needs to be more like Star Tours with randomized video to make the ride a different experience each time. They have the 'virtual queue' to get into Galaxy's Edge, but it has never been needed once the reservations were over because the crowds have never been close to capacity for that 'land'.
