This is me. I'm the one with my head down in the crowd, I really respect what this guy was able to do. I could never stand in front of anyone, let alone a crowd of fans. He's inspired me to try and turn my negativity into something good.
When this album came out, my life was in utter chaos. I related SO much to this album, and it honestly helped me get through probably what will be the most difficult time in my life. What I've learned is that everybody needs some sort of symbol of love, hope, prosperity, purpose, and what makes living worth living another day. So whether you find that in God, Garrett, your parents, your kids, yourself, whatever. Hope is not always found in one place. Hope never loses us.
I got lucky enough to see this band, completely by chance last year at the Glass House in Pomona and was completely blown away. Garrett told the audience a story and I was so incredibly moved. This man is going to change people's lives for the better. He had an impact on me, that's for sure.
I met him a couple weeks ago, and it was a life changing experience and he really opened up my eyes. I have very bad anxiety, so it was really hard for me to go up to him, but I did. He sat there a listened to me while I told him my struggles and how he's helped me overcome them. He was probably the first person in years to actually look me in the eyes and listen to what I had to say. It made me tear up. Garret REALLY does care about his fans and he is the nicest person, and talking to him will make you feel like you've been friends for a long time. He's such an inspiration and one of my heroes. Even if you don't like The Color Morale, Garret is a person you just need to love. I love him so much !
I had to go to special classes to learn to talk with and through my stutter. I was tormented through school and can still walk through the halls and feel completely alone. I didn't grow up in a broken home or have a bad family but I have seen the results of that and it's guys like rapp who help kids like me push through the day. Everybody needs a little pick me up and the color morale does it for me. I really hope I get to see them in concert soon!! KNOW HOPE!!
This is why i fucking love TCM. I love their sound, their amazing lyrics, their tremendous instrumentals, this band is perfect and as a musician i respect them so much. I hope to one day see them live and I want to thank Garret for everything he's done for me.

I can't remember the exact year but I met Garrett at warped tour, in Dallas. Waited in a line for about 45 minutes, just to tell him that he inspires me and to please don't stop making music. I didn't want a picture, I didn't want an autograph, I just wanted to let him know that what he's doing means something to me, beyond just music. His exact words were "I'll never stop man. This is who I am and this is what I do. You have no idea how much this means to me now, get over here, we're taking a fucking picture" Was pretty awesome. Love this man

I've been listening to these guys since 2009 and they are a huge inspiration to me musically and emotionally. They are from a place 20 miles away from me and when they come back home i want to just thank them for what they have done for me and for hundreds of other kids. You guys are amazing no matter what happens.

They're so genuine and passionate about music and even though they aren't headlining warped tour and all they still keep going. That shows true dedication. Garrets voice is one of my favorite voices of all, it's so unique. The new album is going to be great and I can't wait to see these guys get huge.

Very, very inspirational. I'm in the same boat as him now(faith struggles and what he went through in highschool) and am really loving Know Hope as I loved the first two records. As common as this is exclaimed, Garret is my idol (as well as Taylor Jardine but that's a different story) and my motivation to keep my life hopeful and optimistic. Right now, 2/23/15, I'm an anti-social and chubby sophomore in high school. However, Garret and The Color Morale as well, inspired me to be something different and just make life easier. To this day, I'm trying to stick to my word that Garret doesn't have to fear I don't make the same crucial mistakes. He's helping me get my life together, well I want to do the same.

Garret is such a real person to me. He connects to fans on such a personal level it's unreal. And I love his vocals I never hear Garret and have to wonder who it is because his voice is so real and original and distinct. Such an amazing dude. And his music never ever gets old to me. Still I hardcore fan here in 2017.

Loved the honesty, being a Christian it definitely can be detrimental to see you go through what you are going through but I've been there to and I much rather you right honesty and seek truth and hope than fake something that's not you. The reason people are complaining is because it ISN'T generic. The screams are unique NEW they are fantastic! I have gained so much respect for this man as a person and as a musician. Never give up, keep writing, keep making the music because I love it and it hits me!
I met him after one of his shows and he was probably one of the nicest down to earth person I've ever met, their fill on bassist( the blonde guy) was very nice too. I heard the previews of some of their new songs and I originally was never going to buy it or even listen to it but after watching this video, I bought it
