This was such a heart break. I was rooting for Smug, but I just want Bonchan to find success with Sagat. He kicked ass but still got scooped.

G has been a good fit for Smug moving from Dudley in 4. His strength is in his reactions/confirms into strong execution, combine with the patience his gained over the years to make a pretty strong neutral game and you have explosive damage punishing the smallest mistakes. Was a shame to see Bonchan go down though, definitely one of my favorite Japanese players both in game and in his personality.

Never thought I'd see the day where a normal ass non-Evo FGC match gets a million fucking views.

Such an amazing slobber konocker of a set. Every round was close, and the round scores were perfectly symmetrical. Game 1, Bonchan, two rounds in a row, game 2, Smug, two rounds straight, game 3, Round 1 goes to Smug, Round 2 goes to Bonchan, Round 3 goes to Smug. Fighting games are great.

I was so nervous that he was going to switch(I didn't want him to) like he did in the last event on the brink of elimination. Im glad he didn't. Clearly nerves got to him a couple times today cuz he dropped some stuff he almost never does. At the end of the day, Smug G in top 8🎩👉🔥🔥🔥

This was such a sick and intense set. I had to root for Smug because I love G but, it was awesome seeing Bonchan play some Sagat.

G really is the perfect character for Smug.

Watching Smug play has taught me there is an advantage playing with characters that deal more damage being that you can turn it around with a fewer punches.
