He became PM when the economy was sinking at massive rate. He had to do a lot of work to even manage it out of recession. I don't think he deserves the hate he gets
One of the best and most dignified PM, who had the courage to take accountability and stood for what people wanted. He was not power hungry, genuinely wanted to retrieve the country. But the damage is way too far from repair. He stepped down with divinity to ensure the change the country needs is brought by someone the country wants. Such grace and honour. Utmost respect.
Well spoken. He accepted defeat with dignity and accepted accountability for loosing this election. I am not British but rather Canadian however from reading these comments they are mostly fair granted the limited time he held the position as Prime Minister. Wishing Rishi Sunak and family well.
A Leader who: 1. Starts his final message with ❛ I am sorry ❜, recognizing his limitations. 2. Brings his wife to the car first before he enters, who is a real gentleman. A leader as such receives my full salute and applause! As I read the other comments, his time was too short and he entered in the most difficult time that only time will define what UK has lost. Thank you Mr Prime Minister!
The people of the UK complain every day, but I don't want to be one of those people who complain and insult Rishi until the very end. I want to at least smile and be kind to him and be grateful for his achievements. This is my true feelings.
I honestly respect sunak, he took over a job from lizz truss that crashed the economy, no easy shoes to fill, he tried his best and I honestly believe he loves this country, thank you for your service mr Prime Minister Rishi Sunak
@@zamunda_kingI wouldn’t call it steady. I mean “under difficult circumstances” whilst barely doing their jobs is not keeping it steady. I.E partygate
He did his best. He was given leadership over a wrecked party. Cameron, Boris, and Liz failed the voters and the country. Rishi was never given a fair chance. In other circumstances he would be a great PM. But in the chaos made by his party and his predecessors it was not his time. Labour will ruin the country even more, but its understandable why they have won. Thank you Rishi for your service
Labour gives more and more welfare? It doesn’t work, british people need to work harder and push wages up. In 2 years time voters ask for change again.
@@HBquintessence IDK what makes any sane person think that commy Labour Party will fix economics of Britain! UK may be called a developed country, but citizens clearly lack the maturity go beyond appeasement politics.
Well, it’s commendable to see a politician graciously accepting defeat. Although it's not a loss for me, he certainly did his best. If others could learn from what he just did.. Congrats Rishi. You are a great Leader
I have great respect for Rishi Sunak. He came in a very difficult time and worked hard. As an Asian prime minister he has proved that what only matters is your dedication, willingness and giving it your all to any job and anywhere regardless of who you are. I wish him and his family well🤲
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak did the BEST he could with the country with VERY LIMITED resources. He has done his DUTY FOR THE PEOPLE OF Great Britain. He has stood firm on his convictions and YES TRIED HIS BEST TO BRING THE COUNTRY BACK FOR THE BRITISH PEOPLE. CONGRATULATIONS ON HANDING OVER POWER SO GRACEFULLY ! KUDOS TO YOU , YOU HAVE MADE HISTORY AND OTHERS NEED TO FOLLOW! WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING. LOTS AND LOTS OF BLESSINGS TO YOU AND THE FAMILY. BEST OF LUCK FOR EVERY OTHER ENDEAVOUR! YOU ARE WORTHY OF EVERY ONE.!
As a chancellor he has done great job but as a prime minister, he has made a big mess. Because of him net immigration was record high and he didn't do anything
@@767Alaa not because of Sunak, but because of Brexit immigration was raised. EU countries are helping immigrants cross our borders. Because they hate us for leaving. And because we were abled to leave. Sunak who wanted to do something with it for real and it would help reduce the numbers ,- Ruanda. No refugee wants to go there! All others politicians inlcl. Farage just bla bla bla, without any plans!!!! I can't believe ppl can't see it at all. Labour will welcome all of them. 🙈
20 months is not enough to rescue and refloat the sinking ship. Mr Rishi Sunak has done better than expected inflation is down, exports growing again, dragging the UK out of recession and £ is stable. The NHS problem was created 20 years ago and no amount of money can fix it.
@@ProDoctor7 NHS is the problem, this is not feasible anymore. Remove this socialist system, keep a minimum safeguard for the people in the bottom rung, let the capable people take care of themselves. That way NHS wont become a money drain, and people don't have to wait for eons to get normal medical services, if they are capable they can go for privatized healthcare and have insurance pay for it, else the government takes care of them. The people on the left will whine and cry, you can't make everyone happy, just go for it.
You are best Rishi, self employed people running business today beaucuse of you, you proved you are good prime minister, all the best for your family's, lots love
He is one of the most loved prim minister I ever appreciated in UK. He is really a top man, with a top wife. Just look at her. Both are very appreciated. A real gentleman.
Sorry to Interrupt ,because It is your country's Internal matter , but I just couldn't hold my horses by reading your comment that If he was so loved pm , then why he was being attacked racially in many times !
Actually it is a relief he lost. The Govt of India was very proud of him and doing a lot of things for uk.Esp in imports from uk. All rubbish will stop now
Mr Rishi Sunak is a very polite and decent man and highly capable but he did not have enough time to fix all those problems created by Boris and Truss.
Thank you for taking care of the UK when the Prince of Wales was morning the lost of his dear beloved Queen Mother died an was in Mourning . Thank you for being there when the Prince became the King , Thank you for all your love and hard work taking care of all who's hearts was broken. Thank you Mr Prime Minister R and your Beautiful wife ❤❤❤❤ much love from south africa❤ you made history and we shell always remember you and your beloved wife. 3 cheers you did a great job in a very difficult time ❤❤
Britishers ruled India nearly 100 years, Britishers couldn't even tolerate 2 years of Indian origin ruling as a PM. That's the power of India🇮🇳.💪 Karma always hits back.
@@p_molnarmaybe he meant that British ruled India and an Indian ruled Britain. It doesn't make sense by the way and Rishi himself is British I guess. He ruled Britain for British but British didn't do same in India it was all for their own benefit. Don't make me remember the dark history my heart starting to hurt .
What a PM United Kingdom had . Time was very short but he did very well what ever he could have done. Inflation is back on target. Save my company going under during coivid with his scheme and above all he was people's person. Really wish him well and I am sure he will still assist our country from the backbench. Regards
is this a sarcastic comment? you know how many khalistan peaceful protesters he supported and aiding the killing of? Know how many innocent gazans died because of him? Fucked our economy interfering in ukraine, israel, we lost monumental lives and money in 'eat out to help out' bogus businesses cashed in on covid grants they hadnt operated years, delete your comment dude, with a sikh name aswell yano
This is not loss.not defeat.this is democracy.labour not won untill they do better than sunak.if they not able to do better than sunak, then sunak is the winner.
Even if I wouldn’t vote conservative again, I respect sunak in the fact that he manages to plug up the gaping gap in the sinking ship he was given; yet everyone expected too much from him too quickly.
@@granand well, I was labour before, but voted for conservatives first time because of Rishi, and because I think he is one who has a competence to run our economy without bla bla. What after Brexit and COVID we desperately need . But British ppl preferred a professional talker instead who will take advantage of RS's achievements. Very disappointed.
@@grus599 Even bigger danger lies ahead, with migration that will threaten the very culture of Britsh, the policies of govt that will embolden and threaten the very fabric of Identity of british and then economy that is related to the morals and ethics of the country. Like all western nations, country is slipping just that people have increased the gradient for faster fall.
Respectful speech, and people should respect both him and the winning party. Thinks are not going to change within month. So, instead of critizising. Just observe what the newly elected party is doing.
@@Yuri-wv5cj you would have tried for running as PM right in this election. UK need people like you with full of talent to solve all the problems... you would have tried 👍
@@Yuri-wv5cj So by stealing we can become prime minister in the UK, is possible???..🤦🤦🤦 Party in the power and their Majority MPs only can elect one of their MP as their PM. Not by "stealing"... if so king will simply sit and see the drama?? King is the supreme leader of the country. After Majority MPs elected King only invited him to form the govt. By stealing nobody can form the govt in the UK. ("stealing", "he is richer than king"..all these words simply map your brain). Infact after Boris Jhonson Liz Trus was the one who become PM not Sunak. After her own debacle & knowledge less act only, Majority MPs elected Sunak as their next prime minister after Liz Truss 🤦🤦🤦🤦
he's gone, and i hope he never takes this job again. he has a far better life now, and he can live it with dignity. britain deserves leaders like starmer.
Thank you for your service to this country and thank you for leaving number 10 with your head held high and accepting your party’s defeat. Personally I’m not holding much hope that labour can govern properly but only time will tell. I wish you and your family all the best for the future
Don't worry Rishi ... You didn't do to Bad considering the cards that were dealt .. You did better than Boris just my opinion Thank You for getting us through COVID ... 👍💯
I honestly respect sunak, he took over a job from lizz truss that crashed the economy, no easy shoes to fill, he tried his best and I honestly believe he loves this country, thank you for your service mr Prime Minister Rishi Sunak
rishi was an intelligent and humble gentleman in 14 years of conservative rule the last two years under Rishi Sunak were the best. he gave everything for this job but reform UK has eaten conservative votes.
Mr. President you have done a lot of good for Britain. You stabelised the COUNTRY. My utmost Respect goes to you and your family. I wish you all luck. From South Africa, Vanitha❤
One thing is for sure, Rishi left Britain a healthy economy that did not happen after Gordon Brown left 10 Downing St. He sold some of the Gold reserves. Even after that, the British economy was heavily in debt, and years of austerity followed. Then sadly sometime later, covide 19 kicked in, which became another drain on the economy. Many thanks for your sound economic governance, Rishi. Unfortunately, some people have short memories.
Most People don't understand economics.. Otherwise they wouldn't have voted for Brexit... British people 's suffering is their own wrong doings and David Cameron for allowing it. Rishi was a competent leader ,but he will take the heat for being the last leader of the Tory Party.
Rishi pls come back to India pls help your people here let the Britian rule by thier people always your home country belongs to you so pls come to India
Very well said and he has done to the best possible. Truth will prevail when time comes. All the best to his loving wife, daughters and the members of his families too for the support they have given him during his leadership. I had an opportunity to meet him on some occasions and looking for to continue doing so. It’s not easy to apologies, which he has. Congratulations to the incoming PM Sir K Starmer
In this century, being richer is also seen with the lens of hatred and jealously. Some become rich with lottery, some become rich with their parents Money and some become rich with their hard work. If 3rd option happens to u, then I guess u must be admiration for others
Yes because king cannot own much. It's public property. King also has limitations to do business ... Otherwise the current King is one of the most multi talented person on the list right now... One of the best farmer, painter, narrator , etc
The English whinning as usual. Probably even cuz he's Indian. He was expected to save Britain when it was comparatively like the 4th stage of cancer when it was handed over to him. In all honesty tho, he was miles better than other PM’s we had. Good job Rishi 🫡
iterally a great man and I am a lib dem but we have to be honest, Rishi was one of the best PMs we have had in the 21st century. Will miss his strong abilities and skills.
It’s a good and peaceful process for democracy and transparency of power other world countries have to learn a lot of from them specially my country Bangladesh ❤🎉
A respectful, intelligent, honest speech from a Prime Minister who did his best, unlike a few of his recent predecessors (such as Boris Johnson). All the best to him and his family.
