I am just past being able to get up comfortably like this. I generally have to rotate and use the arm or back of the couch to get upright. Major props for sharing.
Hi Dan! Watched your lgmd videos -- talk about mirror image. I have only uploaded one video some years ago. I have LGMD 2A and I'll be 31 this year. Where you're at now, physically, it seems as if that was me about two years ago. I am too unsteady to get up with a cane from a chair now but you're doing great and I hope you're having a wonderful day!
Jennifer Lynn thank you very much! Great appreciated. I have LGMD2i. I have started acupuncture and the acupuncturist uses a tens unit attached to some of the needles. I feel a difference and highly recommend trying it. I hope you are doing well and have a great day.
Merhaba lgmd2a hayatım evliyim 2 kız annesiyim 3 yaş ve 10 aylik kızlarım var acaba onlarda lgmd2a olurmu endişeleniyorum bunun cevabını öğrenmek istiyorum
Btw how does you lower back hold up when you use the ground to push yourself to the couch? I cant to that.... its easier for me to just anker my arms on my knees, rather than to go all te way down to the ground
Hi Dan. Alex here. Im trying to determine the age of ppl with LGMD. Im also "blessed" with LGMD.... I saw alot of ppl with LGMD on youtube, but none came back to me with my questions. How old are you currently? how severe are your walking etc. im 32, and im only beginning to struggle now..... it gets worse pretty quick.
xander binns Hi Alex, I’m currently 39. I started noticing symptoms around my mid 20’s, I was a driver and played it off as being out of shape. I was diagnosed when I was 30. As far as how fast the “condition” progresses I can’t tell you, everyone’s different. I will post a link to my blogs on Google+, I have a lot of my experiences and what I do to “improvise, adapt and overcome. plus.google.com/118420389313764170348/posts/ATuc7jcu8PR
