Regarding this game: -The colours aren't this washed out, he's just using a different post processing option. -The game is very much not dead -This is not a run and gun COD/BF game. -When starting, you WILL die a lot. Until you learn to keep your head down and suppress the enemy, just like IRL.. -Kills in this game are 10x more satisfying than other shooters because of the realism imo. -If you wear a good set of headphones and crank the audio up, the soundstage when you're being suppressed while enemy mortars are landing around you.. will blow your mind.. and then when you get shot in the head for the first time, you will actually shit yourself 😂

Here's a tip use manual bolt / pump instead of automatic, it's easier to confirm kills with bolt actions and pump faster with the shotguns.

I have played the crap out of this game. It will give you your Vietnam FPS fix. It's one of the only Vietnam era games available and they do it pretty well. Fun game.

You can press spacebar early to mantle over walls and such instead of running into them and then pressing space. Your character will do a running jump sort of thing. Makes it faster.

I love this game. It's nice to see some Sniper gameplay, it's always taken by the time I load in.

I would love to see some more videos on RS2, the game has so much to offer, but most major youtubers only show small bits of it. PS, I am not a big fan of the grey colour correction, the game can look so vibrant without it!

This game emmersed me more than bf2, bfbc2, or any other battlefield game thus far. This is how i always imagined battlefield should be...

The one thing I don't like about the game is that a lot of the RO2 and og Rising Storm players have moved to this game, and it doesn't have the team play of the previous game. Oh well, its still fun though

Being a Scout Sniper in Vietnam is an extreme way of life.

I love this game. Not expensive, with lots of free content, historically authentic and fun to play. I hope that next Battlefield game will be Bad Company 3 with Vietnam War DLC. But I'm afraid that so-called political correctness might destroy that setting too, just like it did in Battlefield V...

You also don't have to bandage immediately. Severity of bleeds varies. But your screen will fade to black slowly so you know when you are gonna bleed out. You have time to run to cover to bandage.

i was following this game from a few years before it came out, i've enjoyed it since it released, and it's still so much fun, i just wish more servers had the instant kill feed

I would highly recommend turning on manual bolting in the gameplay settings. It means your character won't automatically bolt the rifle after each shot meaning you can easily see if you hit your target or not. Plus it's better for reloads and such since your not wasting ammo chamfering rounds you aren't gonna use. And you won't end up stuck in a bolting animation when you don't want to be. Simply left click again to bolt the rifle. It's real easy to get used to.

Long range sniper kills in this game is the most satisfying thing ever.

I thought to myself: I wish DDG would upload sum Rising storm 2 again and I'm so happy he did :)

DDG, you should try some of the custom map servers. There are some really well made ones that bring a totally different type of warfare from the original maps

I bought the game a couple days ago and I love it. my computer can only handle the game at 1080p low but seeing this in 1440p it look amazing

You can crank the corpse lifetime up now, they changed the LOD of the bodies, makes everything crazy immersove

This is the best game ive bought , interestingly enough its one of the cheapest ive bought too. Its one of those games that will piss you off the first few matches until you learn how to play to your advantages.What am i sitting here typing for? Im gonna go play.

Only thing I kinda wish this game had was some type of vehicles for the us forces, maybe an m113 apc or jeep with mounted m60 or something. People might say, that's kinda powerful, but then vietcong and nva carry mines and rpgs.

I had to quit playing. I use a 2k monitor, badmins ban me for seeing people "too far away." Anoying as hell i wish there where official servers where im safe from a crying admin.

The sad thing in this game is that everyone wants to be a sniper, and i understand why. It's a grinder, so it kinda makes the game a little bit unfair. They actually need to nerf the sniper at some point.

Once i saw like 20 commies spawn in the same place (cuz i took out most of the tunnels im guessing and artiery) but i couldn't kill them cuz i had an smg and they where too far
