Rita doing her only (but delightful) little dance in the 1940 musical "Music In My Heart". Rita dancing is just heaven..I hope you enjoy it as well! :)
A great time capsule showing off the transformation from the black-haired, center-part Rita Cansino to the redhaired, asymmetric part Rita Hayworth- a siren either way!!
@Desi4evah You are very right and yes, it is cruel to be this happy when, at the same time, horrible things are going on..It has always been like this - many people are suffering while others are able to enjoy their life to the fullest and show it. I guess this emotional injustice will always be there. But do not forget that movies were and are often seen very much as an escape to get away from reality..and besides, these people may look happy but I am not sure they really are.
@et7waage hübsch ist untertrieben :D. yeah i think it's not SUCH a good film, but it's kind of cute, and Rita is so good in it..i wish she had more dance numbers too! and yeah i only today found out they were still alive :)..i envy those people who worked with her..i want to meet them all and hear rita stories from them :D
What a lovely, sweet piece of garbage. Don't get me wrong, I adore Rita and I adore B films from Columbia. Many stars cut there teeth in B films and went on to become A stars. I bought this film on Amazon years ago, so I'm not trashing it.
@Desi4evah There were people in the U.S. burning and fleeing for the 75 yrs prior. I didn't lives stopping in order to save them. So just because times are bad for others means you can't smile and have fun with all the trouble around you? That makes absolutely no sense.
@Desi4evah There hasn't been a time in this world when there weren't horrible things going on. Is everyone supposed to be unhappy because there is a war going on in the world? That would mean everyone would be unhappy all the time. Think about it. It's just a movie.
