Absolutely! They have the Krystal Fusion restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, a Steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, and a Mexican Restaurant. VERY good food!! This was just a pool and beach vid. Thanks for watching!!
I noticed that on the beach there are no palapas or any covers other than the palm trees. Would you say the shade is sufficient? We are bringing our baby who can't be directly in sunlight so I'm wondering I need to bring him a tent or something. Thank you!
Yes, the shade on the beach is just from the trees. If you get out there early enough and get chairs, it won't be a problem. But just to be safe, I'd recommend you bring at least a small tent. Not worth the risk that the chairs under the trees will all be full.
They are both amazing, but we preferred Riu Palace Riviera Maya. We liked the layout of the property much better, and it was a bit smaller which lent itself to more easily getting to know other guests and staff. If I chose again, though, I’d probably let price decide since they were both amazing. 👍🏼
Thanks for the video, I'm going next week. So if I want to stay on 4th floor but don't need ocean view, is there any extra charge? Because I don't like propel on top stomping. And also shows weather during your time there? Because weather network said will be mostly cloudy ... I do hope is sunny . Is steak house very good? And do they serve breakfast and lunch too?
Contact the resort at their email address about a 4th floor room. It might be difficult to change rooms after booking, depending on the capacity at the time of your stay. Regarding the weather, depending on the time of year, it’s cloudy most mornings in this part of Mexico. A passing shower is common, but it usually clears up and the rest of the day is sunny. The steakhouse? We loved it! I think they serve dinner only.
@@kk-yy8oi Dunamar is a complete resort unto it's own. Per their website, they have a buffet and 4 specialty restaurants: Kulinarium restaurant (à la carte) Asian restaurant (buffet) Steakhouse (à la carte) Italian restaurant (à la carte; buffet starters and dessert).
Nice video, but I suggest you slow your panning and resist panning back and forth repeatedly … it makes it difficult to actually observe anything. Pan slowly once rather than quickly four times. Panning is the biggest weakness of amateur videographers.
@@AllThingsWagner Everyone makes the panning error 🙂We are shopping for a resort to visit and invite family. This will be our 18th trip to the Cancun area, and we generally never repeat resorts (Live Aqua being the only exception), and are considering this resort. We like that the barrier island located hotels are mosquito free compared to Riviera Maya, but that’s not our only consideration. Why do you prefer Riu Palace Riviera Maya over Costa Mujeres?
@@dilvishpa5776 1) Layout of resort-most every room has some sort of ocean view. 2) We also like it was a bit smaller. 3) Close to town, shopping, and site seeing venues.
January. Honestly, the pool water was FRIGID!!!! I was told the middle pool is heated. Not sure if the other two pools have that capability. Also, it rained the first evening we were there, and was a bit chilly through the entire next day. That had to have effected the pool water temp too.
There are 3 pools-- the one closest to the other resort, where the water park is; the one in the middle where the food is; and the largest one closest to the theater.
I’d say it’s as big a party as you want it to be. If you want to go to bed at 9, you can. If you want to head to a nearby RIU for a party, you can do that too. Staying at a Palace gives you benefits to visit other RIU resorts nearby. There are no clubs on this property.
