It’s actually egregious how people think purdy is an elite QB. I think he’s good but not no elite QB. Riv down bad 😂😂😂😂 he said purdy should be in MVP convo then said he’s a top 16 QB.
Fr, as a Niners fan I don’t get why people want to appoint him as some top 5 QB, I think he’s Top 15 and I’m fine with that as long as we win the super bowl
I need y’all to keep the same energy with Jalen Hurts. Hurts has the best situation of any QB in the league, top 3 WR duo, Best Oline in the league, top 8 TE, top 5 Coach, top 10 defense, good running game. & he’s leading the league in interceptions with all that lol. I like hurts, but if we gon call purdy a system QB, hurts has to be as well.
hurts been a gunslinger this year for real. but I think he's a bit better than Purdy because he can rush and got a slightly stronger arm. If he has another bad game I think it will be fair to call him a system QB
@@naz1439daks interception issue last year was mostly fluke as well but most fans called him a turnover machine, myself included. And we haven’t see THIS eagles team without hurts, last time they had another starting QB the defense was a mess & the WR room had jalen reagor as a starter.
@@tylerrodriguez7772 dak single handedly lost them at least 3 games w his ints last year including the niners game so that’s a lie and we literally saw the eagles in those 2 games w minshew it’s nowhere near the same what are u talking about man
Hurts is not a system QB, he’s just a mobile QB who had a successful passing year last year, He is only struggling because he is still learning to be a NFL QB, Brock is is literally a Pocket QB, and struggling, even with all the things around him, Jalen struggling is not because he is failing the system but simply because he’s not a great QB this season
Brock Purdy was ABSOLUTELY the biggest reason they lost to the Browns. And turnover worthy plays are 100% legit. If you throw a ball to a DB, whether he catches it or not, it’s a bad play. I’m a Niners fan by the way. Lastly, Aiyuk is their best receiver lol
@@CDBennett2003 Aiyuk got them in a winning situation that game. That “game winning drive” that wasn’t a game winning drive that Purdy fanatics love to bring up? He literally threw a dropped pick, a 4 yard hook that Aiyuk took 30 more yards, then a 5 yard out route. He did not do anything 😂😂😂. You don’t watch evidently
The argument that “they shouldn’t have been in that position” doesn’t make sense when teams practice situational football all the time. How many games/super bowls have been won off someone’s leg? This happens often so why can’t the 49ers have a kicker on payroll in the case they need a last second field goal? Simply because a team SHOULD win based on stats doesn’t mean anything once they hit the field
Putting him in the MVP conversation for the beginning of year was a good take, but now it’s so far from being a good take anymore. Everyone who starts in the MVP, they end up falling out, and it’s not a big deal lol. I think both of them trippin but i did like them arguing lol. It shows they real boys off the camera.
YOU HAVE GOT TO STOP giving Purdy credit for that “game winning drive” against Cleveland! On that drive, he threw a dropped pick (wasn’t charted a TO worthy play because the throw was even behind the corner), then he threw a 4 yard curl to Aiyuk that he took 30 yards after the catch!😂
@@jasonhuynh8561 that’s just a dumb comparison. Nobody thought Brock was a top 5 candidate or even top ten candidate before the season either. What does that even have to do with it anyway
Brock Purdy is a guy who puts the ball in harms way a lot, doesn’t scramble ever, and isn’t great under pressure. He’s not a bad QB by any means, but he is far from a legitimate MVP candidate in my eyes.
You must not watch too many niner games because he gets out sacks and creates positive yards all the time time, and piece up a blitz heavy wink martindale defense. He does put the ball in harms way a lot tho
@@oxiclean4972 He does move outside the pocket sometimes, but when I said he doesn’t scramble, I meant he doesn’t use his legs to scramble as a runner.
@@ryanmccrary1880 Bro do you want him to be an RB then, he’s a quarterback, not every QB is a dual threat like Justin Fields or Lamar and that’s alright. However he’s not a pure pocket passer as he’s fully capable of using his legs to make a play.
Can Joel PLEASE stop with these Stephen A Smith ass takes. Like this is such a lazy take. The dude struggles for like 2 games and now he’s a system QB?!?
