Riva Ariston 1959 with Chris Craft 283 V8 engine test run 

This was my 1959 Riva Ariston full restoration of the boat and motor. Chris Craft 283 V8 with manual gear box was originally used by Riva in 1959. Six Ariston's came with this engine. The previous engine option was the Chris Craft MCL straight six (twin carb with 175 HP). See my other video of the Riva Super Florida for the MCL engine
