These are the new updated models the original rs1 2.0 had a strip attachment for the thumb and the design is slightly different it looks like for this new batch they went to the same thumb as the rs1 1.0
@@yaseen3180 for sparring it's okay and even preferred but for mitts and bag work I like a un attached thumb since it allows you to make a tighter first with the glove and open and close your hand more naturally. And if you have a completely un attached thumb there's a possibility you could hurt your opponent in the eye with your thumb sticking out so that's why it's bad for sparring but this particular glove has the thumb completely attached so making a first is not a easy but it is still comfortable and I'm able to make a first so it's still fine.
You can but it wouldn't be very ideal since they are very stiff and have a long cuff. So open and closing your hand isn't as easy especially with the attached thumb
Personally I have not used the 100 but I've seen many reviews on them and have looked at the design closely and what other people have said is the Rs1 2.0 ultra is better overall and more comfortable
Thinking of getting a pair of these gloves. I own the rs 100s which are a great protective and comfortable glove. However, they feel a little too bulky for padwork. Do these feel less bulky than the rs 100s?
