If you check out Rival's Australian website I think that's where they are offering all of the colours (Red, Black, etc)

Yeah rival is kind of weird in that way where their Canadian website has more choices in terms of colors.. I think the seller on amazon can get those colors. Where as the rival USA website just shows the gold and blue version of the glove. But there is a red and black version of the 2.0. Hope that clarifies it.

Thanks for the explanation! Yeah I thought the rs2v was the velcro counterpart of this glove which makes sense. The thumb does look more curved than the rs100 which I thought would be uncomfortable or awkward but it wasn’t the case and felt good to me.

In terms of leather quality and craftsmanship, generally Reyes is better. However everything else, comfort, protection, hand comfort, wrist support, I’d say rival has surpassed them

Personal preference and pretty even imo between the 2 as far as sparring goes. Id go rival just based on the price alone but you can’t go wrong either way.

I agree, manufacturers are evolving and able to make quality products, faster and cheaper.

@@johnsonramond1553 Not the entire glove but printing the different pieces that get stiched together like clothing. A digitized image of your hand would provide the computer the date to create the customized design and output the shapes for the printer to produce.

@@Daniel-cp2ps I have the rs2v 2.0 they look alil smaller and compact . I have long fingers so they are uncomfortable at times but again they are stiff still and need to be broken in .These look a bit bigger and On camera these look more protective

Lace up is a lot better if you train at a gym however

Those are solid gloves but if you have wrist issues I’d go with rival rb11 or something with a better wrist support system

These rs1 are a good choice although they aren’t broken in right away. They do put your fist in a nice position and offer good wrist support

All boxing gloves are garbages to Expert Boxing, except the winning and mexican gloves haha

I didn’t have problems with my sabas pro series or Bella’s, wasn’t a big fan of the supersoft. If they’re toys then so are many other gloves that are similar or inferior to sabas... are they the best gloves out there? No, but they’re still a solid choice...just my 2 cents

@@csquaredboxing interesting. TBH the only thing holding me back is the use of laces instead of the strap. There are times where I'm on the gym on my own and I might not have someone to tie the laces of my glove for me.

@@emirhanbaydar9146 no bro the part where you curve your fingers into a fist is super stiff on the RS2V and short . If you have longer fingers it’s hard to make a comfortable fist . I’d either spend more and get the better rival gloves . Or just get these .

Padding is a little more dense and you can make a tighter fist than the winning. Winning quality is better and padding a little more balanced.

Had the t3 and now own the 2.0's. In my opinion 2.0's are the better option. Would not consider the t3's after.

I've got the original rs4 (as opposed to the rs4 2.0) They're surprisingly comfortable for such large gloves but I found the finger compartment to be short (16oz) so beware if you suffer from long fingers. The thumb is comfortable, slightly curved. I was told the padding is softer than the original rs2/rs1 but I dont really think it is. So combine that they're not as comfortable as the rs2/rs1, not as good on the bag, not significantly better sparring wise for your partner, I'd pay a little bit more and get the rs2v. The biggest problem with the rs2v 1.0 is the balance and the wrist. It is very floppy and also top heavy - meaning off centre hits will tend to flex your wrist backwards. It's not a major problem if you're technique is solid but it is something that put me off when I got them. I will say that I like the padding so much that I've just ordered a pair of rs2v 2.0 as I've worn the originals out and you cant get them anymore, be interesting to see if they've fixed the wrist.

@@Daniel-cp2ps Bro I wish I could’ve warned you sooner I’m watching this video because I’m trying to sell my RS2V (super sparring gloves 2.0) they are a nice comfortable pad when it comes to throwing with power but they were too compact and my fingers felt bunched making it hard to land a flush punch on the proper knuckles . After breaking them in they did get a bit more comfortable but overall I’m not impressed .

Are you sure you're talking about the same glove? This glove Is extremely easy to open and close your hand. Perhaps your hand Is very small?

@@maxrey4055 Yeah these are it. I don't have small hands, and my hands felt great in these gloves. I think they're very comfortable. I guess I didn't explain too well. I can open my hand in these gloves, but the long finger compartment made catching the jab awkward. I prefer a glove that can open wide, like how Mexican gloves are. Just my opinion to each their own.

Actually yes but after they are broken in. When I first got mine I was going to return them because they were so stiff but after a few sessions they really opened up nicely like wearing a pair of mitts. Night and day difference from when they where new

@@csquaredboxing thanks going off of the training we do at my gym it would probably be used for hand pads regularly, and like 2 min on the heavy bag per weak, in addition to sparring ofc. But i have a decent pair of bag gloves if that’s too much. The RS4 1.0 glove’s padding lasted over a year doing that with both pairs I had, I just stopped using them because of the Velcro which kept coming undone.
