New fan here....6 songs deep and i havent heard a bad song yet. This group, Dirty Honey, and Highly Suspect. There has been a resurgence of good rock lately...killer vocals...gritty deep rock instrumentals. Shame on the record industry responsible for their lack of success.

Been an avid hardcore fan of these super-talented boys ever since 2009 when their first album popped; every single one of their albums is pure gold + its money well worth invested. Up until I discovered *RS* I truly believed that Rock was _dead_ , but after I heard their first album ( _Before The Fire_ ) - I was hooked, and my faith in Rock was instantly restored! The great thing about *RS* is that, they are a *TRUE ROCK BAND* with staying power, and they continue to evolve and progress as a band. Throughout the years + their 9 albums, Ive always had a _favorite track_ which I would just _loop_ and listen to continuously for days on end - and on this, their latest album ( _Feral Roots_ ) , *Too Bad* is definitely one of my faves. I've been _looping_ it for the last 4 days so far. Jay, you give me *chills* when you sing, and sometimes, you could just make me break down + cry with all of the emotion you imbue in certain songs, and _this song_ is just one of them... I saw Rival Sons open for Sabbath on "The End" tour. I'd never heard of them before, but they played such a blistering set I knew I had to hear more! They never disappoint!

I became musically aware in the '70s. Yesterday, I heard this song for the first time and immediately experienced that feeling of falling in love with the passion of rock for the first time. It stopped me in my tracks. Specifically, as others have here reflected, Rival Sons has a significant parallel to Bad Company, one of my very favorite bands as a young teenager. I adore this clarity of sound and authenticity of form and style. I've spent the last 24 hours absorbed in this music! Thank you for your work! This song in particular is stunning.

I totally love that 1971 fuzz-tone guitar sound 'Doc' Scott Holiday puts out. And I totally agree with Nielz073 , the Sons are FINALLY beginning to get the recognition they have been deserving for a long time. I bought the only 2 CD's I ever found by them in stores even though I stream them on spotify. I missed them when they played in my state last year, but I'll catch them next time.
