I jumped out of my seat the very moment I saw that opening animation, seeing you guys getting Keke Flipnote to be part of this is amazing!

Honestly this trailer has made me way more interested in Maypul than I was in Rivals 1, she’s so well animated and looks really fun

I cannot explain the extent to which I am excited for this game. Maypul looks freaking insane and I'm HERE for it!! We get THREE "Lilys" that's so cute! Also omg kekeflipnote.

The return of the Forest Floor stage has me really excited for 3D Sylvanos. Rarely played Maypul but having more plant friends looks pretty interesting.

as a Maypul main, this is SO sick. more plants is not something I expected but I am DEFINITELY down for, making characters have more options and deepen their gameplay is what makes Rivals Rivals, and I'm happy to see that expanded upon!

Like how the gameplay is looking a lot smoother Ngl. Seriously hyped for this to come out

Maypul looks SO fun to play in this game, the addition of new kinds of plants is pretty much what I felt she was missing from Rivals 1

Really hoping that we get Sylvanos back at some point since his signature stage is coming back. He was my true main next to Ori, so I hope he makes a return. Though I imagine he would be quite a nightmare to animate in 3D, like orcane, but I can dream 😅

The animations are amazing. The game looks like it will control like a dream. The abilities are interesting and present a ton of opportunities for inventive and creative play. I am very excited for Rivals 2! (please let there be an equally-good single-player story mode!)

God the more I see the more I want. I am really hoping they nail the sound design like they did in Rivals 1. Ive noticed that most other platform fights have a heard time really selling the impact feel, look, and sound but I have total faith over at Aether Studios. KEEP IT UP!

I already loved playing Maypul in rivals and I love what was done with her here. Amazing

Wonderful trailer and Maypul looks great. I really hope this new stage shown means that Sylvanos will come back. I'm not holding my breath that everybody will be returning, but I hope that he's one of the returning vets =w=;

The Kekeflipnote animation was unexpected. But Maypul looks really cool. I never played her in the first game, she awesome here. Hopefully, she'll have an actual down-air in this game.

The new moves make me think of melee where all the existing characters went from 3 moves to 4 and that just rounded out each character super nicely

Boy, as if I wasn't already excited enough. Can't believe there's more to come, even after this. And after seeing how the game "Them's Fightin' Herds" came along, it's always nice seeing other indie games progressing along wonderfully. I know the Rivals series is bigger in the sense off more games & popularity, & that Them's Fightin' Herds is more infamous with its story of how it came to be. I simply enjoy knowing that indie designers can make a game (and/or series), that can be as big as a game from a big name company. Especially of all the work they put into it, you got to appreciate that.

I am very happy Maypul's back, largely because I've made peace with Mollo and Shovel Knight not coming back so I want one of my mains Edit: To clarify, I know everyone's gonna be there eventually, but let's be real, in what world is Mollo getting picked over Clarien and Forsburn? Hell, we know those two are in, Mollo's in the back of the line, and SK's a crossover character, they're somewhat near the bottom of the list of priority, I think Mollo's gonna be the first workshop character back, but I assume every single character prior to that update, aside from Ori and SK, will be in before him
