Ichigo Kurosaki the hot-blooded substitute Soul Reaper has arrived to the Rivals of Aether roster! After being given the power to see spirits, Ichigo finds himself learning how to wield a mystical weapon known as a Zanpakuto named Zangetsu. However he eventually realizes that a second being resides within the blade and at times attempts to take control of Ichigo’s entire body. This other creature is known as a Hollow, a spirit that used to be a human being when it was still living. Sometimes things don’t quite go as planned but nevertheless Ichigo finds a way to come out on top and save those who need help.
“Zanpakuto are not mere tools. They’re each alive. They each have names. I’m no better than that Kenpachi, who doesn’t even know his Zanpakuto’s name.”
