He'd be busted- All the characters in rivals would be S tier or A tier in smash if they were put in with no changes because the game itself is meant to be faster and more technical So all the characters were balanced around being all equally OP Not balanced by all being average

Equilla the Eagle - Anti-Oxigest yeah I have. His moves are very inspired by the game. The way you collect gems from the enemy, use relics and the moves reflect this.

To be honest...I was expecting him to appear in this game. It isn’t a surprise, it’s more of a “Does YOUR indie game have Shovel Knight?”. The reason why in Ultimate worked because we didn’t expected indie representation in a Smash game.

well he's pretty new he first debuted in 2014 and i wouldn't consider him worthy of fighting with the big boys when he only had like one game, compared to someone like bomberman who deserves a spot in smash considering that he's pretty classic and even had a crossover with wario. And he doesn' have that much histroy with nintendo, i dunno i just don't think he deserves to be a playable character
