Momimaru is legitimately Codfish if he took the more technical route. His beats are simple yet powerful clean, and well structured. Ngl I preferred Momimaru’s rounds over River’s, could be bias but I’m not the best fan of complex beats when it comes to beatboxing seeing as I think it takes a way from the enjoyment.

Momimaru ud punya ciri khas, enak, bedanya sama river kalah variasi , padat, ritme nya bisa kemana mana, kalo momimaru stuck 1 ritme , variasi kurang padat dstu satu aja. Tapi yg paling penting momimaru ud punya CIRI KHAS sama BEAT Style sendiri sih. Jadi sewaktu denger beat ciri khas dia ud pasti UD momimaru. Nice try and berkembang terus momimaru ❤❤

Round 1: Momimaru: Very clean and original, however, wasn’t very powerful on the mic. Had commendable structure. His filter and breathing technique is clean!! River: came in straight with the battle energy, not clean as Momimaru, but much more powerful on the mic. Also the round had considerably more energy when river performed. Had a pleasant flow and groove. Also loved the new techniques. Round 2: Momimaru: Very nice groove, gave more battle energy and responded to river’s call out, lovely patterns and very clean. Sounded similar to wing’s musical sets. Love to see when Momimaru gets aggressive. Should do it more often. River: His musical sets are so original and unique, had some timing issues and there was less energy this time. But emotionally connected with the crowd like he did in GBB21. Brought back memories and made the crowd feel nostalgic. Still could be more clean to score more points. River clearly won round 1 for me and won round 2 by a very close margin. Lots of love for Momimaru, he’s such an insane beatboxer!
