I can understand big gators fighting and eating each other or snatching a sub adult, when you're hungry, but I just cannot get behind adult gators camping the spawning grounds in the swamp to eat baby crocs. Like good job dude, those 3 diet points are gonne make the differnce. Great video Pete, it was fun watching you and Zed lurking together, I hope we'll get more of that :D

But my point was more of an ironic one that often those who say to just "deal with it" or the like, because its part of the game, often have something thats also part of the game to complain about just as much, if not more...and its often mixpackers. You werent my intended target. But i do agree! Plenty of real life examples of animals mixing together for a variety of reasons, including desperation, and happy for the help, like when two rivals will hunt together. My personal favorite example is actually wolves and corvids. I just think that symbiotic relationship is just...awesome 😊

After seeing countless deino gameplay i thinkn as a nice update for him would be that when hes not moving his hunger gets like 3 times slower like actual gators
Yeah I hate that they reduced the size of a croc's food bar. Being an ambush predator, all it does is encourage cannibalism to survive. Making it slow when sitting still would encourage ambushing over swimming around and looking for a fight with other deinos, too.
@@Zeus_Editszx they were not designed to be a cannibal, they were designed to be a crocodile, which is also a cannibal. There is no reason to artificially make them more cannibalistic than they are by nature. They eat each other plenty, but a croc can go a very long time without eating because they live largely off of ambushes. So they should support that play style, because cannibalism will always exist and be active, but as it is right now, you cannot keep up with the food bar as an ambush predator lately.
@@Sadeyrat the moment they are sinds there the only semi aquatic that can keep there own population in check nothing else stops them besides stegos and there still pretty safe from them.
@polskakrowa6735 They are ambush predators, literal crocodiles, they are meant to sit around. And their grow is one of the harder ones, with most of their early life spent on land to avoid getting grabbed by another croc. Also, they are meant to be powerful. The game isn’t balanced around dinos being capable of fighting each other, it’s a food pyramid, and deinos had very few predators, with none of them being outright stronger than it. It had twice the bite force of the T-Rex and was largely considered the T-Rex of the rivers, it was easily strong enough to even kill one in a bite if it caught it with its head near the water. They were incredibly powerful and the top of their food chain, with stuff like the Rex only being superior inland, and outside of their self, their only competitor was titanboas. Which likely relied purely on sneak attacks. Like the Rex, they are scavengers and ambush predators, more than capable of bullying almost anything off of a body and spending most of their time sitting around doing very little to conserve energy. They can go nearly a year without eating with modern crocs, so yes, they should only get hungry very, very slowly if they are played the way they are meant to, being an ambush predator. If they’re actively exerting all of that energy swimming around and chasing things, they should be punished for it, with faster hunger and low stam, just like the Trex, because they are very similar creatures.
wow impressive timing when escaping the Deino at around 9:00!!! >.> and the music at the end of the video when catching the raptors together with the slow motion was so epic!! o.O i also liked the peaceful endscreen...gave me a feeling of the circle of life and how beautiful life still is and how little we are..all these dinosaurs killing eachother but the earth keeps on spinning, you know?^^...dont know if any of this makes even sense xDD

Thats crazy. That orange and black croc from the beginning was also in my game! I was a beipi at swamp and i just chilled with lol. Too small and fast to be worth the effort of catching 😂

This is why as I get bigger. I just kill everyone near me. Because they will kill you. "BuT wHaT aBoUt FrIeNdS?" That's just food I'm saving for later.
On some shit, there has been a lot of duo Deinos just coming around and killing everyone. And then they just follow, like you thought they were doing to you. It makes it very unfun and miserable to play becauee you cant even spawn in without someone trying to kill you immediately. :/ Like..come on.
i was playing this a couple hours ago. i spawned in as a deino and within 10 seconds there were around 15 fully grown crocs, attacked me. i respawned in centre, chat said too eat so i did. mid animation at least 8 fully grown crocs swarmed me and killed me. 90% of deino players are fat single men in mummys house. i get the whole survival concept but at what point does surviving become being a bellend great vid by the way. i enjoy watching you and sand

Just bought the game? You can switch from the Legacy branch to Evrima by going into the games Properties in Steam. Then go to "Betas" and choose "Evrima" in the drop down menu to download the latest version of the game. Welcome in!
The isle sucks now. it goes like this: server is full. they are happy to take everyone's money and only have enough servers up for 30% of players. This company deserves a boycot.
So when you eat something on the surface of the water, and go under before you finish do other still hear the loud thump noise from the jaw closing? Cause going under cancels it on my screen and I still eat it but no thump so I'm wondering if that's a good way to eat without giving yourself away too much
Could you tell the stars of your PC? I have never seen someone running evrima so smoothly- liek, 160fps?!! How?! Im having 50 at best and 30-40 on usual. On center sometimes below 20 and I do not have a terrible set up i think, it runs legacy pwrfectly smooth for example.
Man, I was a galli and not even out of juvie stage, I defended myself against two lil troodons with alt kick and speed. It gets a lil addicting kicking stuff so please forgive us lol
ok random question, but how come replay mode doesn't work for me? at first, i though it wasn't actually implemented and only actually in the test branch but then i see you using it and it works great! i click f2 in game but then nothing happens, no icon in the corner of my screen. i checked settings to see if it was something in there like if i turned the symbol off to show you have replay mode on but i couldn't find anything. so im very confused atm haha
