So...the way i see it, and i might be the only one, is that while the faster swimming speed is good for escaping, its not really needed as a small gator...if youre smart enough to stay hidden. What IS useful to me is the slower hunger rate one. Its a 50/50 that Ill spawn somewhere where theres actually food...either already dead...or something to catch, including AI. Ive died more times to hunger simply because i spawned in a vacant spot and for some odd reason...NO fish or frogs or any other AI at the very least spawning. Ive had much better success when using the slower hunger drain one. But maybe thats just me and im one of the rare people that just has really bad luck when it comes to food. Its not like i cant catch it, either. Like other players. Not like i cant hunt. Just dont always spawn in crowded areas, and no AI...for some reason.
I swear i typed this early in the video lol. But thats a great demonstration of what i was talking about lol. Had you had the slower food drain mutation, youd of had more time.
it just does not make much sense to play gator till the next bugfix patch. i play ptera for 95% of all my play time. pete asked what we eat, its turtles for the most part, crabs and bit fish, but for fish i only know 2 spots. you always find fish in the south river hotspot area. next to it at beach turtle. you find rarely fish at the swamp entrance river, or exit, depending from where you come. you find elite fish at exact 2 spots that i know of in the swamp, spawning in a cluster of 3 in a small river alike spot, and 1 single in a half pond. thats it. you can find also turtle around the swamp at beach sometimes, but at the dam at swamp exit the chances are good, if you are not alone waiting for the spawn. of youre alone, you starve. north pond or north east, former hotspot, there is no fish at all spawning anymore at present. there i lost my 100 croc to starving death.
Man only became 100% once, last dozen times i tried i just get deino killed as a juveniel. Its my favorite dino, but spending 2 hours playing safe and getting outran on land due to stamina diff is just killing the fun of playing deino for me. Luckly i can always watch your vids
I am not a gator player but i played beipi and the underwater vision isn't too bad. scary. it might help to hide from bigger gators. you can see the shoreline easy so i guess that is an advantage.
10/10 would remove deino's completly - or change the water, so that u can SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE... deino play is kinda boring too, and the only way u die, is by doing big mistakes - or run into premate deinos.
dont ur feet also have to be on the sea bed for launch and grab ? tried it ur way but i only came zooming out of the water xD so 1 important thing missing in this video
@@DefeatPete Thank god, having everyone in the same location was difficult for playing a deino and if you wern't it just felt like a constant deathmatch
