I love my ARB armored LJ. The testing done by you guys is appreciated. That being said, you Aussies are nuts. Can’t imagine wading water full of snapping hand bags.

We need these in the states! Here in Florida hurricane season hits us bad, and it would help me a lot to have a truck specially BUILT to handle these types of flood waters, and similar road hazards!!! Looking forward to learning more about these Australian trucks, I’ll be buying either a Tacoma or early 90s Toyota Land Cruiser. Something with space, but with the differential locks and decent weight and torque! That will be specially built to spec like the ones showcased! Thanks for this video brotha! Love from America!!!

As a kid i always thought it looked cool when a car got in the river and i could see the water evaporate. Now i think those poor cars probably didn't last very long.

Snorkel is used for air breathing by engine but what about exhaust of the engine if it blocks by water

ARB wouldn't (or couldn't) install the breather kit on my 2020 Jimny. It was part of the quote amongst other work & when I picked it up, they said they didn't do it.

I would chase that up with your dealer, if you paid for it then it should be done. If for some reason it's not able to be done to your vehicle you shouldn't have been charged for it.

consider not doing a water crossing haha. It is recommended to use a water repellent on any engine part that is sensitive to water. Also using a crossing cover on your bar / bonnet to repel any excess water making it into the engine bay.

Walk the crossing first and make sure it is safe. The general rule is if you can walk it, you can drive it.

Obviously water crossings are risky with any vehicle. You should always make sure it is safe, and weigh up whether you have to do it or not. When done safely and correctly, there shouldn't be any issues, however it is always recommended to do an engine check after any water crossings
